Was the best trip!! Contiki do it so well, would definitely recommend to young adults looking to explore Europe in the best way possible!
Ultimate European (Plus Greek Islands, Start London)The best part of the tour was the communication with Rose, Wendy, Sam and Alberto. The promptness, clarity and helpfulness in their communication was impressive. Their role in organising transport etc was commendable. Many good wishes for their good work! My suggestions for some other aspects: 1. If a person opts for a group tour, at least inform them in advance that it will be not be a group tour if it so happens, rather than leaving it to them to discover when they find themselves alone on reaching the destination. 2. Select your hotels carefully keeping in mind that your customers are paying you money to have an enjoyable tour experience that a tourist looks for. If you give a hotel which is located at a completely secluded place and does not offer even the basic facilities, it spoils a tourist's experience to a large extent. 3. Prepare a standard guiding document for your various tours, like many good tour companies do. This type of document includes helpful suggestions on what to expect, what to pack, what kind of weather, what precautions to take, currency suggestions, location and shopping scenarios etc. If you have a ready and comprehensive document like this, you can share it with all your customers for a particular tour well in time. This will avoid their having to ask many questions individually. Good luck. Madhavi

What our customers ask about Europe Beach Tours
Which European destinations offer the best beach experiences?
The Mediterranean coastline provides exceptional beach destinations across several countries. The Greek Islands including Santorini Mykonos Naxos and Corfu each have distinct beach personalities. The French Riviera around Nice and Monaco draws visitors seeking a mix of luxury and natural beauty while Croatia's coast offers clear waters and historic towns. Spain's coastal areas blend beach life with local culture. Many beachfront properties like the Crystal Palace Hotel in Naxos put visitors steps from the water. As noted in TourRadar reviews: "The beaches in Naxos were pristine with crystal clear waters especially Plaka Beach and Agios Prokopios."
When is the best time to visit European beaches on a guided tour?
The beach season in Europe reaches its peak from June through September. The Greek Islands maintain ideal conditions from May to October with daily temperatures between 25-30°C and very little rain. A TourRadar traveler shared about Santorini: "The weather was perfect for enjoying the black sand beaches and crystal clear waters." For fewer crowds and better rates consider visiting in May or September rather than the busy July-August high season.
Which Greek Islands offer the best beaches for different types of travelers?
Each Greek Island has its own beach character. Mykonos draws social crowds to Paradise Beach while Santorini's black sand beaches like Perissa attract photographers and couples. Families often prefer the protected coves of Paros such as Kolympethres Beach. Beach access is easy from properties like Far Out Hotel in Ios and Paradise Beach Resort in Mykonos where guests can walk straight to the sand.
How much beach time is typically included in European beach tours?
Beach tours mix water time with cultural exploration. Programs such as the "Greek Island Explorer Tour" set aside 2-3 full beach days per island. Santorini tours usually allow 2 days for beaches like Perissa and Red Beach. Mykonos schedules often include 2-3 days for swimming sunbathing and water sports. A TourRadar traveler commented: "The itinerary provided perfect balance between structured activities and free time to enjoy the beaches."
Which European beaches are best for swimming versus scenery?
For swimming the Greek Islands lead the way. Mykonos' Paradise Beach and Santorini's Perissa Beach offer gentle waters perfect for a dip. The French Riviera presents beautiful views but often comes with pebbly shores around Nice and Antibes. Santorini's Red Beach and White Beach accessible only by boat showcase dramatic volcanic landscapes. A TourRadar review noted: "Santorini's black sand beaches were incredible for photos while Mykonos had the best swimming conditions."
Are there good dining options near the beaches?
Beach dining ranges from casual tavernas to upscale restaurants serving fresh seafood and Mediterranean dishes. Mykonos' Little Venice puts diners right by the water while Santorini's Perivolos Beach hosts numerous seaside eateries. Hotels such as the Santorini Palace connect guests to both beaches and restaurants. According to a TourRadar traveler: "The beachside restaurants serving fresh catches of the day were a highlight of our island experience."
