We saw many spectacular temples and the very impressive Valley of the Kings, and the sailing along River Nile was enjoyable. Definitely worthwhile to pay extra to tour the Abu Simbel Temple! The drivers drove well. Many thanks to our guide Hassan for his very thoughtful arrangements of a wheelchair pushed by a member of staff from our cruise ship, to enable my husband to facilitate his access to Edfu Temple and Karnak Temple plus a round trip golf cart ride within the latter site, and his purchase of golf cart tickets without charging us extra, to spare my husband from the long walks within the Abu Simbel site.

I would highly recommend this tour especially with our guide, Ash. Thr accent sites selected were amazing and each offered something noteworthy yet unique. Our guide was informative , warm and helpful. The pace kept.out days full and interesting, yet allowed for some free time exploration at sites and rest on the cruise. The balloon ride was one of the most spectacular experiences of my life. Seeing Abu Simbel was amazing and the Nubian village was fun. If I had it to do again. I would pass on the carriage ride in Luxor. The condition of the horses was alarming. I would also try to stay a full day or 2 in the Nubian village. I'd have.liked to swim.in the Nile and go on a camel trail ride and have had more time to shop in the market there as there were some unique and interesting items compared to the markets at every temple. The people were all welcoming and kind. Most are multi-lingual. I didn't need to use Google translate.once. id say bring lots of small US bills. It is preferred to the Egyptian pound by many and often cards are not accepted.
