The tour was very well organized and every pickup/drop off exactly on time. Guides were extremely kind and took very good care of us. The attractions were very busy but our guides fast tracked us and got us the best viewing points. All accommodations were good and on one occasion, a hotel that was not good, was quickly changed. The vehicles were top quality and drivers safe. All breakfasts were included and most lunches. The guides took us to very nice authentic sites where we were able to try regional and local foods. We were very safe at all times. Our guides met us at each leg of the journey and delivered us to each train/ cruise port. The tour was excellent value for money and we were shown many more attractions than advertised. I highly recommend the operator and their guides/drivers. FYI I would recommend loading the Alipay and or WeChat payment platforms and also the DiDi ride share app. Cash is accepted and ATMs easy to access,
A Journey China With Yangtze River Cruise in 11 days- Private TourWe really enjoyed our trip to China. From the minute we arrived to the day we left transfers, hotels, coach, guides, etc. were first rate. We were greeted at the airport, guided to a luxury car, given water and then driven to our hotel in Beijing. The hotel and room were 5*, as would be the next 2. All hotels were very busy at breakfast, lots of people, a wide array of food choices. Given I am newly a type 3C diabetic, it was not easy to find things I like while still keeping my blood sugar low. Having travelled quite alot, I understand our idea of breakfast is different around the world so it was obvious our hotel did well to cater to likes of all nations. The included meals were also quite a contrast to what I am used to; I tried many things but I have always been picky when it comes to food. So all in in all, I always was able to eat enough... Lets just say I did not gain any weight. We visited all the main sites in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. We only went to one of the optional outings, the acrobats that were quite good and worth the additional cost. Our guides in Beijing and Xian were very good, unfortunately I can't say the same for our guide in Shanghai; her english was just not good enough. She tried though. I loved our time in China, we were able to get a real sense of how great this nation was, is and will be. The number of people, how modern it is, the facilities, the infrastructure, the affordability... It's mind blowing. Tourradar and its partner Tomato Travel easily gave us the best tour we have been part of, hands down, no dispute. I would highly recommend using this company to anyone planning a visit. Well worth the price. Maybe flying between the cities would have been better? Not sure... The train rides are long while flights would have been quicker and maybe even cheaper. I trust Tomato Travel made the best choice. Thanks to all that ensured our trip would be memorable.
