Good things: Ship was nice, the food was nice, Hurgada resort was véry nice. Guides were knowledgeable. The staff on the ship was very friendly. The sites visited were amazing. Things to improve: * The Cairo day felt a bit rushed. Some in the group needed to catch a flight, which meant less time at the museum. Scrapping the papyrus store when this happens seems to be at least one way to allow more time in the museum. * The night train was an "experience", not much possibility to sleep due to noise and movement. * When optional activities are not chosen, a suggestion on what to do instead would be welcome. * The optional activities in Hurghada were not good value for money. We checked with others doing the same activities, and it seems they paid less than half. Moreover, there were quality issues with the dune equipment in our case. * The Hurghada resort needs to review how many activity vendors it allows on the beach. Literally every 5 min we were bothered. Meaning basically the beach became unusable. The Pools were fine though, so we stayed there. The rest of the resort was excellent value. Especially the food.

An excellent safe tour of Cairo, Giza and the Nile River. The local Cairo based tour company provided hotels, meals, transportation and guides for each step of this journey through 4000 years of Egyptian history and culture. I climbed down a tunnel in the oldest building in the world, the Step pyramid. I walked the same steps as pharaohs and worshipped in their temples and burial chambers. I floated down the world’s longest river. The guides are university trained in Egypt history and traditions. Run to your nearest travel agency to experience this amazing trip from Tour Radar!
