What people love about Christmas & New Year Tours in Tasmania
- Tasmania Hobart & Launceston All-Inclusive Grand 10 Days Touring Package
The tour was perfectly organised. Everything went well as outlined in the itinerary from the time of pick up at the Launceston airport till the drop off at the Hobart airport. Couldn't find fault with anything. The best holidays we had for a long time
- Ultimate Tasmania - 10 Day Comfort Tour of Tasmania
This tour went beyond expectations. Every day in every way the scenery was spectacular. Our guide went the extra mile at all times and showed courtesy, empathy, keen knowledge and patience. Thank you Anthony Druett for this well-planned experience.
- Tasmanian Discovery - 6 Day Comfort Tour of Tasmania
What a great way to get a taste of Tasmania. Our tour guide, Wombat (Garrett), was fabulous. Just be forewarned - the bus is not made for comfort or seeing what you're going through. The seat backs are so high and square that it's very difficult to see what's in front of you and unless you're about 5'4", there's no legroom in the seats. Best seats are the single ones so you can hang over into the aisle to see ahead. Otherwise, all you see is stuff whizzing by your window. Stops for walks were informative, but not always respectful of the pace people wanted/were able to walk - so much of the commentary was missed. Some of the sites had uneven steps with no handrails making traversing them precarious. That being said, we saw a lot of Tasmania in 6 days - something which we wouldn't have been able to do on our own. Highlight for accommodations was the overnight stay at the Penny Royal Hotel in Launcestown. What a cool old building repurposed for a hotel - and the restaurant was a perfect place for dinner on a rainy cool night!
