I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Wanderland group tour through Bali, Gili T, and Lombok! A friend recommended Wanderland and specifically raved about Stacia—and I’m so glad I listened. Stacia completely exceeded expectations. She brought great energy, had everything organized to a T, and made the entire trip feel effortless so we could just relax and enjoy the ride. Snorkeling with turtles was unreal, ATVing through the jungle in Ubud was such a blast, and paragliding in Lombok was next-level amazing. I also loved biking around the islands and swimming in waterfalls—this trip was packed with adventure and good vibes from start to finish. Thanks, Wanderland, and a huge thank you to Stacia for making it all unforgettable!

Great trip. Small group well planned itinerary. Little tiring long hot days. Wish the guides could speak better English and little more articulate. Couldn’t hear as we are senior citizens. Guides need to be more clean and should take care personal hygiene. Stinky breath and body odor was a bit too much.

For great surfing, head to Byron Bay and Spot X Surf Camp in Australia, where friendly local instructors will help you catch waves at iconic breaks. In Bali, both Kuta Beach and Canggu work well for learning - the water stays a pleasant 80°F (27°C) year-round. If you're looking for reliable waves, check out Taghazout in Morocco. The conditions there are good pretty much any time you visit. When is the best time to go on a surfing tour?
The best time really depends on where you want to go. If you're heading to Byron Bay in Australia, book between September and April when the water's warmer and waves are consistent. For Morocco's Taghazout, winter (October-March) brings bigger waves of 6-8 feet (2-2.5 meters). In Bali, plan your trip during dry season (April-October) when you'll find steady waves around 3-5 feet (1-1.5 meters). How long are typical surfing lessons on these tours?
