The trip was very well organized. Every day was something new, and I met new people, which was great for me. Nicole, who was responsible for organizing this wonderful adventure, was indispensable and answered my questions immediately. For those who enjoy adventure, I highly recommend exploring the Galapagos with TourRadar.
10 Days Galapagos Island Hopping in Santa Cruz and Isabela - K

I had a great time in San Cristobal! I had airport transfers from Quito Airport and San Cristobal Airport to my hotels included based on my flight information that included 3 extra nights in Quito. Day 1 included a private snorkeling activity at Playa Punta Carola followed by the Interpretation Center with information about the island. Day 2 included an awesome group boat tour of Kicker Rock with snorkeling. I saw sea turtles, pelicans, reef sharks, rays, and hammerheads. Day 3 included another cool group boat tour to Española Island with snorkeling included. I saw starfish, reef sharks, loads of fish while snorkeling, and blue-footed boobies and marine iguanas while hiking. Day 4 was a free day so I decided to take a private tour of the island to see giant tortoises, a gorgeous lake, and a stunning white sand beach. Day 5 was a flight day so I went to the beach prior to the plane. Overall, I enjoyed my time and wish I had spent more time seeing the other islands. I cannot wait to return. The communication with my tour agent was really good too. I received a free 1GB eSIM which was enough for about 2 days so I bought a top up. Both hotels (in Quito and San Cristobal) were comfortable with great breakfast options. I am very happy I booked this tour.

Good tours, good hotels, good transport and good communication. I was the only the only guest on a 7-day tour in February but tour dates were coincident with Ecuadorian national holiday aka "Carnival" so I had a good time partying with the locals.

- Spring 2026
Spring sets up perfect timing to mix mainland Ecuador with Galapagos exploration. Most routes kick off in Quito's old town then head to Cotopaxi National Park where you ride horses with local cowboys and walk around glacier-fed lakes. Once in the islands, you'll snorkel quiet coves with green sea turtles, find Galapagos penguins and walk up to spots like Frigatebird Hill. Summer tours blend physical challenges with local culture across Ecuador's regions. You start in the Andes at South America's biggest indigenous market in Otavalo before heading to the deep blue Quilotoa crater lake. The path winds through Baos where you'll cycle past waterfalls, try the "End of the World" swing and soak in hot springs. In the Amazon, you'll tackle white-water rapids on the Jatunyacu River, look for night creatures on jungle walks and learn traditional plant medicine from indigenous guides. Our travelers tell us they love how these routes mix hiking, cycling and also cultural experiences all in one trip.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Autumn works well for exploring high mountains and coastal areas both. Active tours combine horse rides near snowy volcanoes, downhill biking on jungle paths and kayaking in wildlife spots. You'll visit artists' workshops in the Andes, learn chocolate making from local experts and spot countless birds in misty forests. Our guests often mention how they love the variety - hiking volcanic trails one day, swimming with sea turtles the next and also learning at wildlife breeding centers.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Winter brings out the best of the Galapagos from December through May with warmer seas and great visibility. Our multi-island tours let you snorkel at Kicker Rock where hammerhead sharks glide by in the clear waters. You'll spot nesting frigates, swim with curious sea lions and also watch blue-footed boobies hunting for fish. The volcanic walks take you through lava tunnels and up Sierra Negra, which happens to be the world's second largest volcanic crater. When you stay island-based, there's time to kayak Las Tintoreras, see giant tortoises roaming their highland homes and also visit the Charles Darwin Research Station.
