31-Day Southeast Asia Adventure: Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and CambodiaSummer time was a little bit hot, but overall this long journey through Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand was fantastic. We started in lively Ho Chi Minh City with a wonderful day in the Mekong Delta, then flew to charming Hoi An – exactly the central Vietnam experience we had really wanted to visit. Hanoi was vibrant and full of character, but the absolute best experience was the overnight stay on Halong Bay – the limestone karsts, calm waters and peaceful atmosphere were unforgettable. Continuing to serene Luang Prabang and Vientiane in Laos, then Phnom Penh and the magnificent temples of Siem Reap in Cambodia, kept the adventure rich and varied. Bangkok offered great city energy before we finished in Phuket, which was simply amazing – beautiful beaches, relaxed vibes and perfect for winding down after three weeks of exploring. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of the trip and hope to see you again soon for another adventure!
