Historical Tours & Trips in Scotland
On the far edge of the Hebrides, time seems to settle into a slower rhythm. Arnol Blackhouse still reflects the island’s old ways, while the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse faces the restless Atlantic. Around Callanish Standing Stones and Carloway Broch, the past feels close, and the lookout over Corrieshalloch Gorge opens onto the wide, quiet beauty of Sutherland.

This was a wonderful experience. Our Guide, Roger, was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. He altered the itinerary slightly to accommodate our interests. He was always on time and very enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend having him as the guide for another trip. The itinerary was very well planned and the accommodations were very good. We saw wonderful sights and were treated very well wherever we stayed. The hospitality was very much appreciated.

Loved the tour. Our guide Graham with his knowledge of the history of Scotland and understanding of the Gaelic language was outstanding. Plenty of breaks and stops on the bus, which made it not seem like a long journey. The distillery tours and tastings were fantastic. Learned a lot about whiskey tasting and enjoyment. This was the highlight of our trip to Scotland.
