Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam Tours & Trips
Bangkok's street food alone is worth the trip, but wait till you cruise past Wat Pho on the Chao Phraya River. Head up to Doi Suthep temple for views that'll make your Instagram followers jealous. Then there's Angkor Wat, Halong Bay's limestone cliffs, and beaches that most tourists never find. Southeast Asia at its absolute best.

This tour was amazing! It definitely hit the high points of all the places visited. Since it's probably the only time we will visit SE Asia I wanted to see as much as possible. At first I thought the flight days would be "wasted" but it was good to have some time to relax, catch up, and maybe do a little shopping. Our tour guides were top-notch. On time, knowledgable, friendly, and very helpful. My husband had mobility issues, not as well-healed from a knee operation as we expected. The guides and drivers were extremely accommodating in enabling him to do as much as possible. The rivers were very low due to the dry season, so getting in and out of the boats was quite the challenge. Our drivers were safe, expert as negotiating the horrendous traffic, never once did I think I might die. The tour was definitely well-organized. Ha, our personal agent, was quick to answer my (many!!!!) questions, help with logistics, offer advice about accessibility for my husband, and just help with whatever we needed. We chose the 3-star hotels and found them very nice. One thing to note: SE Asia in general is just not handicap-accessible. Lots of steps with no railings. This tour is physically challenging and would be more so in hot weather. We were fortunate to have private tours most of the time so we weren't holding others back. To "do it all" be physically fit and drink lots of water!

Winter's perfect for exploring Southeast Asia, and travelers love our multi-country tours during this season. The most popular ones run 15-21 days, starting in Bangkok before heading to Vietnam's Halong Bay where you'll kayak between limestone islands. Our guests really enjoy morning Tai Chi on deck and evening cooking demos. Another well-loved route covers Vietnam and Cambodia over 10 days, including the Cu Chi Tunnels and sunrise at Angkor Wat. The guides get constant praise for their deep local knowledge and community connections. For a deeper dive, our 29-day journey through Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and also Laos shows you real local life. You'll join monks for morning alms in Luang Prabang, learn traditional crafts in villages and cycle through Hoi An's countryside. Our travelers like how we mix guided tours with free time to explore solo. The 16-day cultural route hits major sites at a laid-back pace - cruising Mekong Delta canals, walking Hanoi's Old Quarter and watching artisans work in Siem Reap. Looking for extra comfort? Our premium 18-day journey starts in Vientiane with upscale hotels throughout. You get private boats to Pak Ou Caves, exclusive temple access and premium boats in Halong Bay. What are some unique cultural experiences I can join in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam?
You'll love starting your day with a sunrise ceremony at Angkor Wat it's absolutely magical. In Luang Prabang you can witness and even take part in the ancient tradition of monks receiving alms each morning which is really special and included in the Epic South East Asia tour. Want to learn local cooking? Head to Hoi An Vietnam where you'll make dishes like Banh Xeo during hands-on classes on the South East Asia Loop tour. The local markets are fantastic too especially Siem Reap's Psar Chas where you can watch artisans working with silk pottery and wood it's really fascinating.
How can I explore the natural areas outside the main cities?
Ha Long Bay in Vietnam is absolutely stunning you can explore those amazing limestone karsts by boat or kayak on the South East Asia Loop tour. The Mekong Delta's a whole different world best discovered by traditional boats weaving through the waterways and villages. In Laos you've got to see Kuang Si Falls where you can swim in these incredible turquoise pools surrounded by jungle that's part of the Epic South East Asia experience. Cambodia's Tonle Sap Lake is really special too you'll visit floating villages and see traditional fishing methods up close during the South East Asia Loop tour.
What are some off-the-beaten-path routes worth taking?
Instead of the usual routes try going from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap through the Mekong Delta it gives you this amazing glimpse of rural life and you get to cross the border by boat which is pretty unique. Vietnam's Central Highlands are incredible too you can explore coffee plantations and remote hill tribe communities by motorbike or car. Up in northern Laos Nong Khiaw is this hidden gem perfect for trekking through rice paddies and bamboo forests the pace is so relaxed and the scenery is just beautiful.
Which places are still relatively undiscovered but really worth visiting?
You should definitely check out Hoa Lu Vietnam's ancient capital it's got this amazing history but way fewer tourists than Ha Long Bay you can see it on the Circle Indochine 16 Days tour. The Wat Phu Temple complex in Laos's Champasak province is incredible ancient Khmer architecture without the crowds. And while everyone heads to Angkor Wat try visiting Koh Ker temple complex in Cambodia it's got this amazing pyramid structure that looks like something from Egypt you can explore it on the Cycle IndochinVietnam Cambodia Laos tour.
What local foods should I definitely try and where can I find them?
You've got to try Fish Amok in Cambodia it's this incredible curry steamed in banana leaves you'll find amazing versions in Siem Reap restaurants. In Vientiane Laos don't miss Laap their national dish it's this really flavorful minced meat salad. Vietnam's famous for Pho of course you'll find the best bowls at street stalls all over Hanoi especially on the South East Asia Loop tour. And definitely grab a Banh Mi these incredible French-Vietnamese sandwiches are everywhere in Vietnam the street vendors make the best ones.
