Travel in 4x4 Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs and individual bucket seats from Kilimanjaro International Airport to the park gate at 1,860m. Your safari vehicle, which has a built-in cooler, takes you between Arusha and trail points like Marangu Gate, then you'll hike through rainforest to Mandara Hut, cross the barren saddle between Kibo and Mawenzi peaks, and summit at 5,895m.

Take on Mount Kilimanjaro using the 7-day Machame Route, starting your trek through montane forests up to Machame Camp at 3,000m, then crossing the vast Shira Plateau at 3,840m before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak (5,896m) just before sunrise. You'll tackle the famous Barranco Wall and spend nights at high-altitude camps like Barafu Hut at 4,600m, then head down through Mweka Forest to the gate at 1,650m.
