We have visited Tanzania in july 2022, our trip included Mt Meru climb and safari in Tarangire park, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara park. We were in group of 10 people, including 5 teenagers. For all of these days we have chosen spider tours and safaris and that was very good decision. We received not only what was contracted, but also extra effort, starting from the very beginning, when we have missed the last flight segment and had to stay overnight in Nairobi. spider tours and safaris (in particular Redeem) helped us then and we managed to get to Arusha. We started with Meru trekking. Our guides were very professional, prepared us to the climb, taking care about everything, from water containers to daily health checks or briefings. We were looked after by the whole team, we enjoyed every moment with them, had full trust in them, but also lots of fun. I don't think we would make to the summit by ourselves. With the big group, during the night hours to the summit, each one of our group had difficult moments, but we always had a great support of the team: guides Dickson and Jamal, and porters: Faraja, Dickson Moto, Shehe, Rashid, Innocent. Tanzania warriors: thank you for bringing us there and back safely, in good health and in fantastic mood. After Mt Meru we took safari trips to 3 national parks. Again, our drivers and guides, Tooma and Davis were great, experienced and knew when and where it is worthy to go or to wait. We owe also recognition to our "stomach engineer" for delicious meals :-). That was dream vacation for us. It wouldn't work that way without experienced and engaged team of spider tours and safaris. I can proudly say I have friends in Tanzania now!

Last month, I did the 7-day Kilimanjaro climb via the Rongai Route with Lights on Africa Destinations & Safaris. And the experience was simply amazing. It all started in Arusha—the hotel, the hospitality, everything was perfect. I am impressed by the professionalism and sincerity of our guide and the entire crew team. The Rongai route is relatively quiet and less crowded, and the nature that it captures is truly breathtaking. After arriving at each camp, everything was ready for us in advance—food, water, and resting places. Every day the guide would check our body condition and measure the oxygen level so that we could reach the summit safely. I have never had such a beautiful, challenging, and relaxing experience in recent times. I am grateful to the entire team, especially our guide John, who was by our side throughout. If anyone dreams of conquering Kilimanjaro, I'd close my eyes and recommend Lights on Africa Destinations & Safaris.
