We had a really good experience. Our tour guide Fred was very attentive and helpful. We lucked out as there were only 10 people in our group so it was very personal and we were able to get to know the other tourists well.
This was a wonderful way to get a whirlwind taste of Japan! Could honestly spend an extra 2 weeks exploring, but this allowed us to understand what areas we loved and see Japan in a more authentic way! The accommodation was brilliant, and a nice balance of tour and free time.

It was a great trip to Japan. Some of the highlights were the stay in a ryokan in Takayama, where we had beautiful meals while it snowed, a temple stay with an amazing morning ceremony, as well as our wonderful guide, Santi, who went above and beyond his job to keep the tour going smoothly.
