Sikkim Tours & Trips
Ever heard of India's hidden mountain state between Nepal and Bhutan? Sikkim has Kanchenjunga dominating the landscape, Buddhist monasteries like Rumtek and Pemayangtse, and mountain villages with Tibetan cultural influence. Gangtok's the capital, but the real appeal is trekking, especially Goecha La trek for mountain views, Dzongri trek, or shorter hikes. Sikkim's quieter than Nepal with similar mountain beauty.

Everything was handled with care. The hotels were good. Gangtok and Pelling were culturally rich. We loved the ancient monasteries and mountain sunrises. Our guide shared his own stories growing up in the region. The driver drove safely and knew all the best stops.

Our local guide shared interesting local customs and legends at every stop. It added so much to the monasteries and temples. The driver was polite and calm, even on bumpy roads. Hotels were clean and well-staffed, especially in Gangtok and Kalimpong. Yumthang was cold but stunning. The schedule was well-spaced and relaxing. Felt connected to the region in a real way.
