Overall I really enjoyed the guide, coach, and hotel accommodations however I felt the itinerary was very rushed and most of us agreed that we would have preferred to visit fewer places/attractions if that meant that we got to actually spend more time in places like Cardiff, Liverpool, Galway, Edinburgh, and Cambridge. Most days were spent visiting multiples attractions/towns followed by checking into the hotel late at night after most everything had already closed and then leaving by 8AM every morning so a lot of the places we stayed we barely got to enjoy or see. The UK is obviously a big place and so if your goal is to see as much as possible in 2 weeks then this tour is for you keeping in mind that you barely get anytime to rest and you barely get anytime to actually enjoy the charm of every place you visit.
Best of UK & IrelandThis tour was a fantastic opporunity to see and experience the UK and Ireland. Realizing it was a "highlights" tour, I understood it would sometimes move quickly, and now I have an appetite for a more extensive look at some of the places we saw, particularly Scotland. Our tour director, Selene Tomlinson, was supurb. We encbountered a couple of cancellations and delays for reasons beyond her control, and she was tireless in coming up with alternatives that ensured our opitmum experience.
