What people love about Historical Tours in East Coast USA
- Georgia History Trail to Nashville
This Intrepid tour was exceptional, in terms of presenting us with a pretty full picture of life in the modern South, as well as its past history. Our only complaint was that Nashville didn't really fit. Although we enjoyed seeing it, we did not enjoy two long days driving, less time in Charleston, and practically zero time in Asheville just to get there. This tour would be so much more cohesive if it started or ended in New Orleans, which fits much better in terms of colonial history. Intrepid's commitment to sustainability and eco-responsible travel was much appreciated, as was it's sensitivity to the full history--not just the romanticized history--of the American south. Definitely would recommend this tour.
- America's Historic East with Extended Stay in Washington DC
Great tour host and great driver. Scott was very informative with historic and personal information. Preplanned meals were good and in historic settings, ship, tavern, lodge. The buss was kept very clean, however I would have thought the air vents could have been replaced when broken or completely missing. All in all, it did not deter from the great trip but too many little concerns can make for a bad trip. Would I use and recomend Globus, Yes.
- American Gateway – 4 Days
It was really wonderful experience having this tour. Except small children was allowed to be in this tour which was annoying while travelling for longer time. As I remember this tour was not tailored for small children. I hope next time you will make sure not to include small children.
