What people love about Hiking & Trekking Tours in Tasmania
- Famous 5 - 5 day Tour of Tasmania
Famous 5 was a fantastic trip; we had an amazing group (20 people, different ages and nationalities and yet everyone got along with each other), we went to Stunning places and we have been so lucky with the weather. Keygan the guide is absolutely perfect! Funny, cheerful and told us many stories about wildlife or historical facts. Also, I very appreciated the fact that Keygan doesnt speak too fast and articulates since I am not fluent. My highlights are Cradle Mountain, Bay of fire and Freycinet. I wasnt sure about going to Tassie but I have absolutely no regret!!!! I recommend this tour 100%.
- The BIG 3 Tasmania - Launceston to Hobart
Great trip. The 3 drivers in Coles Bay where we were stuck because of the fires were outstanding.!!!!!!!!
- The BIG 3 Tasmania - Hobart to Launceston
Thank you so much!!! We enjoy a lot with us. The tour guides were really nice and profesionals.

The lodging options near Tasmania's trails range from well-appointed lodges to nature-focused retreats. Stewarts Bay Lodge provides waterfront cabins near Port Arthur's trails while Bruny Island Lodge offers farmhouse comfort with private bathrooms. At Cradle Mountain Discovery Holiday Park guests stay in two-bedroom units with community spaces. The coastal routes along Bay of Fires present chances to spot seals albatross and coastal birds. Bruny Island is known for uncommon species including the forty-spotted pardalote and swift parrot. Hikers frequently report seeing Tasmanian native hens and echidnas on paths near Mount Brown and Crescent Bay.
Are there family-friendly hiking options in Tasmania?
