We had a fantastic holiday and we would highly recommend our tour leader Indu Singh.

4 families with a total of 17 people in the group, youngest child 11. Personally I would not take a younger child. I'd also get a flight that arrives the day before not 2 hours before (booked by intrepid) to make the start less crazy - thrown into Old Delhi with all the sights, sounds and smells. Our transformation when returned there at the end of the trip showed how we had all acclimatised to the very different way of life. This is full on for the first half of the trip with 5am starts and lots of travel but you need to immerse yourself in this - this is not a beach holiday or one where you will read much of a book. Tour guide was excellent and listened to how we were coping, making changes if needed. The end part of the tour was a slower pace, with a long day of coach travel at the end. I would have preferred not to have visited the school which was interesting but added travel and included the "opportunity to donate". We all had an amazing experience, looked after well, a variety of train experiences were great and we saw so much we could not have managed on our own. I would recommend the trip.
