What people love about Fully Guided Tours in Sicily
- Exclusive Highlights 7 Day Sicily Tour - Max 6 people - Include: Overnights, Luxury transport, Guided tours
The Best way to see Sicily is through the eyes of a true Sicilian and that is exactly what we got with HandiSicily. We got to experience the passion and love Paolo has for his home country. The rest of the tour was 5 stars all the way. The locations, History, the food and wine exceeded all expectations. Overall an unforgettable experience. Thank you HandiSicily.
- Sicilian Fantasy: Small Group Tour
The sightseeing places were beautiful and would have liked to have spent more time in each place felt a little rushed with no time to enjoy each sight, too much to see in 5 days. Bus should be only 20 or less as too many people created some stress for the leader and 3 languages, became a headache at times. Choices of the first 2 hotels were great ?, the last one felt over crowded and food was not good. Our tour guide was wonderful she was helpful and very patient in the stressful times.
- Sicily Food & Wine
Sicily was great, the transportation was very good, fellow passengers were a great bunch who mixed well. Food and wine experiences were good, but for me the highlight of the trip was ancient and modern Sicily. The tour guide was lovely and tried very hard but with limited English understanding, was not able to provide any significant on board commentary or quell the frustrations that accrued as we drove from place to place. Accommodation throughout the tour was average to good and the weather was just perfect.

How much of Sicily can I expect to see on a fully guided tour?
Standard 7-14 day guided tours in Sicily cover the essential destinations while allowing time to explore each location. The routes typically include the bustling streets of Palermo the ancient ruins of Syracuse the coastal charm of Taormina and the archaeological wonders of Agrigento's Valley of Temples. Tours lasting more than 10 days often add visits to the volcanic Aeolian Islands or lesser-known western coastal towns. What type of accommodations can I expect on a fully guided Sicily tour?
Most Sicily tours provide stays in 4-star hotels that blend comfort with local character. Properties like the Hotel Villa Diodoro in Taormina offer views of Mount Etna while the Mercure Palermo Centro places guests in the heart of the old city. The Il Principe Hotel in Catania serves as a refined urban retreat. Each property is selected for its proximity to major attractions and ability to provide an authentic Sicilian experience.
