This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The itinerary each day was perfectly planned, giving us the chance to see so many breathtaking places without ever feeling rushed. Our guide truly made the experience exceptional. He was an excellent driver and made thoughtful, safety‑focused decisions when the weather shifted. His knowledge of Iceland—its history, geology, culture, and hidden gems—added so much depth to every stop. On top of that, he was friendly, engaging, and genuinely entertaining, which made the long drives just as enjoyable as the destinations themselves. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It was a fantastic experience in every way.

The trip was incredible, as was out guide Eliza. We saw so much in just a few days and still had time to slow down and relax at the guesthouse. Cannot recommend the trip enough.

You'll stay at remote hotels like Geirland (3 km off Route 1 near Kirkjubæjarklaustur) and Hellissandur on Snæfellsnes Peninsula, far from Reykjavik's light pollution during September-April aurora season. Hotels offer Northern Lights wake-up calls when conditions look promising, though ratings of 1-3 show best through cameras.
