An amazing time, the hotels were nicer than I expected we got to see so much! Erin our tour leader was incredible!
Great BritainThe British and Ireland Delight was indeed a delight. For those seeking a quick introduction covering the UK and Ireland, it is ideal. The mix of travel time and activities daily maximized the time without overkill. There was a nice balence of scenery, history, culture, and locations. The Mercedes Coach was top flight. The bus driver was skilled and very thoughtful. The trip was highly organized and managed. Our director, Jemma, was a gem and was marvelous. She kept things punctual, provided clear instructions, was highly knowledgeable, skilled and efficient. Give her a raise. The hotel rooms were overall very good. However the stay in Glascow had some rooms lacking cleanliness. The hotels were very accommodating and helpful which was appreciated. The beds were generally quite comfortable. We were pleased. Over 56 years of travel and dozens of tours this rates well above average. Thanks to everybody for making things special.
Britain and Ireland Delight (2026 Onwards, 10 Days)This tour was a fantastic opporunity to see and experience the UK and Ireland. Realizing it was a "highlights" tour, I understood it would sometimes move quickly, and now I have an appetite for a more extensive look at some of the places we saw, particularly Scotland. Our tour director, Selene Tomlinson, was supurb. We encbountered a couple of cancellations and delays for reasons beyond her control, and she was tireless in coming up with alternatives that ensured our opitmum experience.
