The 6 day tour is great. The 8 can be tiring... Specially for senior tourist I would recommend the 6 days and then see if you like to do the day trips before or after. We did relaxed before and after at blue lagoon and then sky lagoon. It was great way to start and end the trip. BusTravel did a great job with itinerary, adapting to weather conditions, and guides.
