Family Tours & Trips in Romania
Romania mixes small towns, old churches, and mountain scenery in a fairly compact area. Curtea de Arges Monastery is known for its detailed stonework, while Sibiu’s Old Town still shows its Saxon past. Biertan’s fortified church stands above the village, and Bran Castle carries the Dracula stories. Not far away, Peles Castle reflects a more formal royal style.

I went searching for Dracula. Along the way, I found a beautiful country, warm people, and new friends. Our guide was terrific, teaching history along the way. It was a fun adventure. As to whether or not I found Dracula, I can only say, “Mayyyybe.”

Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Romania. Hotels were amazing and all the towns we visited were beautiful. Would like to have more inclusions considering the price we paid for the tour. It’s a bit sad when you are shown a cable car trip to see the view but it’s not included then you do an amazing tour of Peles castle but our ticket did not include the bedroom floor. It started to feel like we were on the budget tour.

What a wonderful and famous trip! It was so good I don't know where to begin. The tour guide Zavada was so knowledgeable about Romania past and present. The pace was very enjoyable, and the variety of places and things covered was really fantastic...from interesting cities, walled churches, the beautiful painted monasteries and natural beauty.
