An amazing trip of a lifetime Have just returned from an amazing holiday visiting Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. The Wanderful Holiday folks arranged everything and were always easy to reach with any concerns and questions. The guides were great, very knowledgeable and very friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for anyone interested in touring South America.
14-Day South American Journey: Santiago to Rio de Janeiro W/4 Star StayThank you for arranging this wonderful tour of southern Chile. I am amazed that all our transfers, air flights and all tours were spot on, not one delay or glitch. Considering how many connections were required, everything worked out perfectly. All tickets for flights and buses were delivered the night before so no stress. All transfers drivers were very attentive and helpful. We were able to arrange extra trips with the drivers to drive us to restaurants and wine stores. All tour guides were exceptional and very knowledgeable. One last thing the weather was perfect for us two senior Canadians, rain was predicted for the 6 days in the Southern part of the trip and it never happened. Highly recommended for a people who want to see beautiful cities and glaciers and mountains in South America. Thanks to all.
South America Wonders: Patagonia Glaciers, Iguazu Falls & Rio | 18 Days · 4-StarThis was a bucket list trip for me, and it exceeded all of my expectations. The itinerary was great, and the scenery/wildlife were unbelievable. Our tour guide (Andres) was superb, and I really enjoyed the hikes (tho I opted out of the big Mt FitzRoy one). I knew this trip was going to cover a lot of ground, but even our travel days were enjoyable. I would highly, highly recommend this experience!

Best time to visit Argentina and Chile
- Summer 2026
Summer tours between December and February make the most of those long daylight hours. Multi-country routes from Rio to Santiago are a big hit, letting you experience Brazil's beaches, Argentina's grasslands and also Chile's mountain scenery all in one go. Our travelers get excited about mixing city life - like exploring Buenos Aires' vibrant La Boca area - with natural wonders like Iguazu Falls, where you'll see both the Brazilian and Argentine perspectives. Some routes add extra activities like rafting near Mendoza or cooking classes in Santiago's busy markets. The warm weather's ideal for eating outdoors, and we make sure you try local specialties like fresh Chilean seafood and proper Argentine asado.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall brings out the best colors in both countries, especially in Chile's wine regions and Argentina's northern provinces. Our travelers particularly enjoy routes that combine Salta's multi-colored mountains with Bolivia's salt flats - the autumn light makes for incredible photos. Several tours take advantage of comfortable hiking weather to explore places like Purmamarca's Seven-Colored Hill and the Humahuaca Gorge. In Chile's Atacama region, fall visitors get perfect conditions for stargazing after days spent exploring geysers and salt mountains. Our guides know exactly when to visit El Tatio's steaming geysers and how to time your visit to Moon Valley for the best sunset views. Many of our fall tours also include time in vibrant cities like Buenos Aires, where you can learn tango steps before heading north to witness Iguazu Falls with fewer crowds than summer months.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Our winter tours through Chile and Argentina focus heavily on Patagonia's remarkable glaciers when the weather is crisp and clear. Travelers particularly enjoy the combination of exploring glaciers like Perito Moreno and hiking through Torres del Paine's snow-dusted landscapes. One popular route takes you from Santiago through Punta Arenas and into the heart of Patagonia, with our customers loving the contrast between urban exploration and wild nature. Another excellent winter option combines Buenos Aires' warm indoor culture - think tango shows and wine tastings - with the raw beauty of Chile's glacial landscapes. Our guides make sure you get the best viewing angles at places like Mirador Cerro De La Cruz, and you'll have chances to spot wildlife like foxes and condors against the winter backdrop.

- Spring 2027
Spring is when our Chile-Argentina tours really come into their own. You'll find yourself tasting different Malbec styles in Mendoza's vineyards, where local producers show you their methods and share stories about the wine-making process. Our travelers tell us they love how these tours mix things up - one day you're cycling through Santiago's neighborhoods and checking out Pablo Neruda's house, then you're watching the sun set over Moon Valley in the Atacama. We've got routes that take in both countries' wine regions, from Chile's Casablanca Valley all the way to Argentina's countryside estates. Spring flowers make Buenos Aires' Recoleta area a photographer's dream, and our local guides know all the secret spots for those perfect city views.
