What an amazing organisation. Our thanks go out to Wendy, Rose, Sam and Alberto. We never knew who did what, you did it so seamlessly (the phone numbers were a hint). Your daily messages on WhatsApp were so helpful. We would like to express our gratitude and admiration for your team. The prompt reply to any queries we had and the coordination of our pickups and delivery, made our trip extremely comfortable and trouble free. Our thanks to all, Beth and Derick.

This particular trip was mind-blowing for me. I've never taking the tour-approach to traveling and I can't tell you how happy I am that I tried it. The places we saw were astonishingly filled with beauty and culture and the guides, hotels, and transportation were shockingly good for the price of the trip. I'll do it again.

This was an excellent A to B self guided tour that had a few well placed day tours included such as the Iguazu Falls Brazil and Argentina side, horse riding, tango show and city tours. Excellent value for money and perfect for people who do not want to be stuck in a 'tour group' for long period of time. The Tour radar online staff led by Cristian were absolutely amazing and always there in the other end with support and assistance when required. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who is thinking about doing it. A trip of a lifetime!!

Best time to visit Argentina and Chile
- Winter 2025 / 2026
Our winter tours through Chile and Argentina focus heavily on Patagonia's remarkable glaciers when the weather is crisp and clear. Travelers particularly enjoy the combination of exploring glaciers like Perito Moreno and hiking through Torres del Paine's snow-dusted landscapes. One popular route takes you from Santiago through Punta Arenas and into the heart of Patagonia, with our customers loving the contrast between urban exploration and wild nature. Another excellent winter option combines Buenos Aires' warm indoor culture - think tango shows and wine tastings - with the raw beauty of Chile's glacial landscapes. Our guides make sure you get the best viewing angles at places like Mirador Cerro De La Cruz, and you'll have chances to spot wildlife like foxes and condors against the winter backdrop.

- Spring 2026
Spring is when our Chile-Argentina tours really come into their own. You'll find yourself tasting different Malbec styles in Mendoza's vineyards, where local producers show you their methods and share stories about the wine-making process. Our travelers tell us they love how these tours mix things up - one day you're cycling through Santiago's neighborhoods and checking out Pablo Neruda's house, then you're watching the sun set over Moon Valley in the Atacama. We've got routes that take in both countries' wine regions, from Chile's Casablanca Valley all the way to Argentina's countryside estates. Spring flowers make Buenos Aires' Recoleta area a photographer's dream, and our local guides know all the secret spots for those perfect city views.

- Summer 2026
Summer tours between December and February make the most of those long daylight hours. Multi-country routes from Rio to Santiago are a big hit, letting you experience Brazil's beaches, Argentina's grasslands and also Chile's mountain scenery all in one go. Our travelers get excited about mixing city life - like exploring Buenos Aires' vibrant La Boca area - with natural wonders like Iguazu Falls, where you'll see both the Brazilian and Argentine perspectives. Some routes add extra activities like rafting near Mendoza or cooking classes in Santiago's busy markets. The warm weather's ideal for eating outdoors, and we make sure you try local specialties like fresh Chilean seafood and proper Argentine asado.

- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall brings out the best colors in both countries, especially in Chile's wine regions and Argentina's northern provinces. Our travelers particularly enjoy routes that combine Salta's multi-colored mountains with Bolivia's salt flats - the autumn light makes for incredible photos. Several tours take advantage of comfortable hiking weather to explore places like Purmamarca's Seven-Colored Hill and the Humahuaca Gorge. In Chile's Atacama region, fall visitors get perfect conditions for stargazing after days spent exploring geysers and salt mountains. Our guides know exactly when to visit El Tatio's steaming geysers and how to time your visit to Moon Valley for the best sunset views. Many of our fall tours also include time in vibrant cities like Buenos Aires, where you can learn tango steps before heading north to witness Iguazu Falls with fewer crowds than summer months.

What's the best time for hiking in Patagonia?
You'll want to plan your Patagonian adventure between October and April when the weather's just right and you get those long daylight hours perfect for exploring. Recent travelers Beth and Derick who went on the South AmericGlaciers Water Falls & World Wonders tour loved how smoothly everything ran especially those helpful daily updates that kept their trip stress-free.
Can I visit Argentina and Chile together?
You definitely can! There are lots of great tours connecting both countries and the border crossings are really well set up. Just make sure you've got your passport ready and check if you need any visas before you go. Joanne had a great experience on the 13-Day Journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic tour where they handled all the transport and border stuff which made everything super easy.
What unique things can I experience in these countries?
You're in for some amazing experiences you won't find anywhere else. In Argentina you can taste incredible Malbec wines in Mendoza on tours like the SOUTH AMERICA WEIN TRIANGLE and enjoy a proper asado with amazing barbecued meats and that delicious provoleta cheese. Over in Chile you'll love exploring Valparaiso with its stunning colored houses and old streets on the Premium Chile Argentina & Brazil tour and if you're feeling adventurous you can hike up an active volcano like Villarrica near Pucón as part of the Andes Iguassu & Beyond experience.
How do I handle money and exchanges in Argentina?
The money situation in Argentina can be a bit tricky but here's what you need to know. There's this thing called the blue dollar rate which usually gives you better value than the official one. Bring US dollars because lots of local places prefer cash and while there are ATMs around they might limit how much you can take out. Beth and Derick recommend booking something like the South AmericGlaciers Water Falls & World Wonders tour to avoid money hassles.
