We really enjoyed the Tour. At no time did we feel isolated or "unchaperoned ". Met at Cairo airport and taken by car to the Swiss Inn Golf Resort which was fantastic, beautiful modern room and slept well, Breakfast was superb, Left and commenced the sightseeing part of the trip, that first day in Egypt was brilliant, Visited the Pyramids and the G.E.M and all its 100,000 treasures, Sleeper train to Aswan was great too, escorted throughout to the train, then private room and meal and then slept in our bunk beds.The Nile cruise boat was Beau Rivage and was excellent, room really large with opening window to see the Nile as it slipped past. The food was also really good and the soft drinks we bought were not expensive. Abu Simble temple trip was a very early start but worth it. Again well escorted. Our main guide throughout the tour was Hossan who certainly knew his Egyptology inside out, Gave the right level of information to avoid overload. All other parts of the tour was also really good, the Valley of the kings was awesome. The tour ended with a stay in Hurghad at the Iberotel Casa Del Mar, all inclusive resort. We added an extra 4 nights to extend our stay. `the hotel was first rate, exceptionally clean with brilliant food, Staff were very efficient and and our room was large with a beautiful view of the pool. All in all we are so glad we did this trip and chose Tourradar. We had held back going to Egypt for safety concerns but never once felt vulnerable, intimidated or even uncomfortable.

It was a really good experience. Everything was really well organized by Holiday in Egipt, good logistics (the driver was always awaiting for us in the tours, airport or train station). The guides are really good, they know a lot about all the things we visit, and as all Egyptians, they're so kind. The hotel and the cruise are really top, they're really 5 stars hotels, with buffet for all meals. The only bad thing is about TourRadar: be careful, in the "not included" section, it's mentioned that entrances and tips are not included, so additionally to the price you pay for the tour, at your arrival in Egipt you'll still have to pay this part (in my case it was 206 USD). I think this practice is kind of dishonest because when reserving and paying, the site NEVER says that this amount is still missing. It should specify, really explicit, that this 200 dollars will have to be paid, but instead you have to read between the lines. Only negative point about the experience (again, it's a negative point for TourRadar, not for the local enterprise Holiday in Egipt).

Our tour with Swastik was absolutely fabulous from beginning to end. I worked with Karni to personalize our tour and add on a further day to include Jhalana Leopard safari before booking. Along the way we also added on extra activities and Karni was really helpful and quick to respond to our requests. During our 15 day tour we had Mahi as our driver who was really excellent. He had great English and looked after us at all times, above and beyond what we expected of a driver. We always felt safe, which is an important factor when 2 females are travelling in a country they are unfamiliar with. We learnt so much from him on our car rides between locations. He was always punctual, respectful and gave us great recommendations for restaurants etc. Ask for Mahi as your driver, you won't be disappointed. At each new location we also had private guides that were friendly and professional and full of knowledge about the places we were visiting. This really enhanced our trip. The pace of the tour was perfect as we went out early for the activities and had the afternoons to chill and relax and their was some flexibility around this. The quality of the hotels were very good and we upgraded some of them to 4 stars. I would definitely recommend this travel company and look forward to travelling with them again in the future. Our introduction to India was more than we could ever have imagined and I can't stop talking about the wonderful time we have just had. If you are hesitating, stop now and JUST BOOK!!!
