The trip was well planned and our guide was amazing. Could not ask for a better trip around Ireland.
Irish ExplorerThe guides, Dormod and Brian, were terrific. 5 stars there. The small tour experience was fantastic; what a great group of people! On the other hand, the small seats in the Mercedes vans were too small for our larger/taller frames and it took some getting used to. The accommodations were so-so and the reason for 4-stars rating. One hotel in Cork was depressing, smelled like a sewer back-up in one area and located down some sketchy allies, the B & B where we stayed three nights was a bit tired and had old time mattresses and flat pillows. On a positive note, Wet and Happy was out tour company through the booking company Tour Radar. They have a wonderful staff and a righteous business plan to give back to the environment. Honestly, I would do it again. Dispute the negative reviews in the accommodations and the van, everything else wiped all the minuses out.
