  This tour is perfect history, culture, and nature. Mumbai historic landmarks were a great start, and then we headed to the beautiful beaches of Goa. The temples and ruins of Hampi were so impressive and full of history. Every guide we had was informative and truly passionate about the places we visited. The hotels were top-notch, and the drivers made the drives feel effortless. I’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants experience of India.

  I booked a Hampi tour for a total of four people. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, but there could be a few improvements. Tourradar had great communication with us before our tour. Our driver picked us from our hotel in Bangalore at the exact time promised and even had snacks and drinks prepared in the car. My only compliant is the smell in the car was a little strong, but other than that, the driver was timely and very thoughtful. We fell sick coming back and the driver stopped by the medicine store to get us water amd a special kind of drink that provided electrolytes. The Tourradar booked us four separate rooms at the Heritage Resort Hampi WITHOUT asking us if we'd like to have four separate bedrooms. After seeing the rooms, we wished Tourradar asked us our preference first because the bedrooms were huge (each room had a queen/king size bed) which is far too big for just one person. If it would have saved us money, we would have preferred to have booked two bedrooms instead of four. The hotel has a beautiful pool, awesome breakfast buffet, and it is in a very cool location (it's located in a mango planation); however, the lunch/dinner menu was not great (our tandoori chicken wasn't cooked thoroughly, the electricity would turn on and off intermittently throughout the night, and the towels were very stained. I enjoyed how our itinerary was split where we rested on the day we arrived and could choose our time to leave on our last day. Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable and was very patient with all our questions and requests. We did have to pay for our entrance tickets out of pocket to the ruins. For the price we paid, I would think the ticket prices are included, but they weren't. Overall, I would recommend, BUT I wish Tourradar could have done the following: 1) confirmed our rooming wishes before booking (if there are four people booked for the tour, ask whether any of those people would like to room together) 2) Partner with a better hotel 3) Pay for our entrance tickets

  In April 2024, we experienced the 10-day South India Temple Tour Package from Bangalore and the surrounding area with our driver Ramesh. We had the most amazing time which was made even better by Ramesh throughout the entire trip. The hotels which were booked were fantastic apart from the first hotel which was located on an industrial site and had no outside seating area. If you are planning on travelling to this part of the world and don’t mind the heat, then April is a fantastic time to go, however, if you do mind hot 39-degree temps each day then probably best not to book during April which is their hottest period. Things to consider: Footwear (socks are a must) as some sites do not allow sneakers or shoes to be worn. Make sure you have plenty of water as you’ll need it. Whilst breakfast was included, it was challenging to have each day, due to the distances travelled during the day and the early starts which were required. The route could have been planned better as on 2 occasions we were in the car for over 6 hours travelling. You can only withdraw up to £50 per day from cashpoint machines at any one time, therefore foreign exchange in the airport is always a good start. Credit Cards are not widely acceptable as are Travel Cards, cash is king in India. Be prepared for photo bombing and photo requests by lots and lots of people especially if you are travelling in the summer months. Winter months we understand aren’t so bad as there are more foreigners in the country. If you have the option of picking a driver, you will never regret using Ramesh. This man has a built-in Sat Nav and is so knowledgeable. He will even take you to places off the beaten track to show you the marvels of South India during this tour. Ramesh made our holiday a bit more special and is amazing. He is kind and caring, and it was important to him that we experience the best 10 days.
