What people love about Hiking & Trekking Tours in Greek Islands
- Cyclades Islands Multi-Activity Adventure
We had a most excellent adventure sailing with Danae and Costa in Greece. We did not get to do the original itinerary due to very high winds but they gave us an excellent alternative in more sheltered waters, Oh those amazing green/blue waters! It was our first sailing adventure and it left me looking for more. I brought my whole family on the adventure including parents and though there were some awkward, boarding moments for my mom (72 and not quite as agile as she used to be (don't tell her I said that!) Costa was always there to lend her a hand telling her she was a natural sailor with his devilish Greek smile! Danae is an excellent host and we shared many laughs.
- Secret Cyclades: Hiking Holidays on Kythnos island
This was our first time to Greece and our first time to a Greek island. We took the ferry from Athens, which takes about 3 hours, and were met by George - our guide extraordinaire - as soon as we disembarked. George is everything a guide should be, fun, knowledgeable, and easy going. The hiking is just fantastic! The views were breath taking and many are not in easy to find places. The walking itself was pretty easy as long as you're used to hills and uneven terrain. We really lucked out going in May because the whole island was covered in sea of wild flowers. The temperature was good, a little windy but comfortable. Our room was lovely and over looked the harbour. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, so relaxing! The hikes were a great mix of history, culture, and wildlife. We really had fun making pottery and learning to cook some Greek dishes. An all around success! I highly recommend George. He was considerate, thoughtful, and patient. We really had a great time and hope to go back with family and friends!
- Walking the Mountains & Villages of Evia

Where do I sleep on multi-day hikes in the Greek Islands?
Greek Island hiking tours offer a mix of lodging options from modern hotels to family-run guesthouses. Crete features properties like the Orpheas Resort in Georgioupolis and traditional accommodations in Loutro village. According to one TourRadar traveler "Our room was lovely and overlooked the harbour. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace so relaxing!"
What are the best hiking trails in the Greek Islands for various skill levels?
