We saw many natural, historic, and cultural attractions and learned so much about both Slovenia and Croatia . What's more, the tour gave us opportunities to meet and interact with locals and we cannot say enough about the genuine kindness extended to our group of travelers. Our Serbian born guide Dragan was an incredible ambassador for the Balkans and its people. He made our tour exceptional, with his knowledge, energy, humor, and warmth. Small Group: Balkan Extended - Ljubljana to DubrovnikOur guide, David, & his assistant, Brusje, were EXCELLENT, SUPERB. Highly recommend them. The hotels were mediocre though, except Korcula, which our “room with a view” was fantastic. The hotel in Kastela was 1-too far out of town/Split, & 2-inadequate accommodations. The hotel in Havar area looked like an old dormitory, quite run down. Our first expwriwnce with Tour Radar (our booking co) was a few years back, in Ireland, & it was excellent; we booked through Tour Radar again for this trip through Croatia but with the poor quality of hotels, will not be booking with them again.
