We had a wonderful time on our tour. We enjoyed the timely and strong communication provided by the tour assistants. There was an issue with the payment at our hotel in London, and an airport transfer, but we were assisted. Next time, we would have preferred trains in the morning as we felt the trains in the late evening made us lose time in each city. However, that is just our personal preference. We were satisfied with our hotels, but would have preferred if they were a walkable distance to the city centre attractions. Also, having the hotels next to the train station in each city was convenient, but put us in very sketchy neighbourhoods where we did not feel secure. I would not recommend hotel Corot in Rome. It was outdated, did not appear clean and was very uncomfortable to stay in. It was manageable for us, however did not come close to meeting the same standard as our other hotels. On the other hand, we loved Hotel delle Nazioni so much as we had our own balcony overlooking Florence and a lovely breakfast. Our other hotels were great too. We thoroughly enjoyed the activities booked for this tour and would certainly recommend the company to others. Thank you so much for your assistance. We had a great trip in Europe. Warm regards, Isla Stewart
13 Day From London to Rome by train (London, Paris, Zurich, Milan, Florence and Rome.)As our first time in Europe, this tour was a wonderful way to get a taster of Europe in 10 days. Brendon was a fantastic tour director with lots experience and so much expertise knowledge about travel sites, landmarks and a whole lot of other advice around how to keep safe etc. He took time to get to know everyone on the bus, is patient and helpful (my teenager got sick and he went out of his way to help with getting medication) and both my children thought he was wonderful. Gianni (I hope I have his name right) was a safe and patient driver and made our journey a comfortable one, even though there was lots of driving. The tour has many early mornings, loads of walking at times, long days on a bus and schedules and deadlines. So if you want something leisurely, this is not for you. Also with children, it would depend if they were happy to get up early, walk and stay on a bus for long hours. I was travelling with a young adult and a teenager so some days were too long (or too early) for them. But speaking for myself, it was a wonderful way to experience the best of all the European cities we travelled through. I got to see all the important sites without worrying about crowds and navigating my own way there as well as meeting some wonderful people along the way. Some hotels were good and some a bit average, but most times it was only a place to sleep, you can ask for fans etc if its too warm in the room (sometimes aircon's did not work, but travelling at the end of September a fan was sufficient). You get to choose optional activities at an extra charge, but this information is given to you when you first book, so should not be a surprise. Thank you Brendon and Gianni for a wonderful trip and most of all some fantastic memories.

Best time to visit England, France and Italy
- Fall / Autumn 2026
Fall brings rich experiences across these countries with harvest festivals and good weather making it prime travel time. Popular autumn routes begin in London exploring historic spots, then cross to Paris where Montmartre's artistic quarter is free from summer crowds. The journey winds through French wine regions during grape harvest, stopping at traditional Burgundy vineyards. In Italy, clear autumn days are perfect for visiting Venice's islands and Florence's hilltop views. Our travelers love the seasonal activities - helping with Tuscan olive harvests, watching traditional grape pressing and joining local fall festivals in medieval towns along the route.

- Winter 2026 / 2027
Winter brings a different side to these countries, with shorter lines and holiday spirit in the cities. Our most-booked winter route kicks off in Paris where you can soak in the winter atmosphere before heading south to Barcelona's milder weather. You'll learn to make authentic tapas and catch flamenco performances, then continue along to the French Riviera. The path takes you through Italy's main spots - Rome's ancient ruins and Venice's canals are much quieter this time of year. Many tours add special winter touches like evening Seine boat rides when Paris lights up and intimate wine tastings in French châteaux. Our customers really appreciate having more space to explore places like the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel without the usual crowds.

- Spring 2027
Spring hits the sweet spot for exploring these countries with nice temperatures and gardens in full bloom. Favorite tours mix London's royal sites with Paris's springtime buzz and Italy's Renaissance cities. You'll find unique seasonal activities like picnicking in Loire Valley château gardens and visiting family wineries in Burgundy as the vines wake up. Our guests tell us they love how these routes balance city exploration with countryside stops - one day you're learning about prosecco making in Veneto, the next watching Venice's master glassblowers at work. Many spring tours include seasonal highlights like browsing Florence's leather markets when new collections arrive and walking through Rome's Villa Borghese gardens at peak bloom.

- Summer 2027
Summer gives us excellent tour options linking these three countries, where our most successful routes balance early morning activities with relaxed afternoons to handle the warmth. The extended evening daylight opens up more chances to discover Paris's Montmartre quarter and Rome's Trastevere district once temperatures drop. Those 10-day journeys start in London, hop on the Eurostar to Paris and then wind through Burgundy's vineyards into Italy - they're consistently among our top sellers. What makes these trips special are those exclusive moments: private evening access to St. Peter's Basilica, authentic cooking sessions in Tuscan farmhouses and Seine cruises when Paris takes on its evening glow. Families and younger guests often choose tours with afternoon free time during peak heat, while our senior travelers prefer schedules packed with morning activities and cultural visits in air-conditioned spaces. Our guides Sarah, Gerry and Vince get constant praise for adapting the pace just right, whether that means early Florence walks before the heat kicks in or evening wine tastings at family estates in Veneto.
