Eric was a super guide. I enjoyed the information he gave on the bus, including the documentaries he showed. It broke up the long bus rides. When I travelled Edison tours had four buses. It would be better if the buses were staggered more. It’s annoying when you turn up at a restaurant, toilet or photo spot and the buses all arrive at the same time; I spent a lot of the free time queuing which could be avoided if the buses staggered their leaving time more. The hotels were a really high standard, so many choices for breakfast, nice spacious rooms. This trip is good for singles and families. Kia the guide we had for the one day tour of Taipei was also excellent.

This 8-day circle route covers Taiwan's varied landscapes and cultural sites, with stays in 4-5 star hotels throughout. The National Palace Museum and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei anchor the first part of the trip. A boat cruise around crescent-shaped Sun Moon Lake includes stops at Xuanzang Temple and Wenwu Temple. Tainan's colonial Fort Zeelandia shows the area's historical connections. Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Kaohsiung comes before heading south. Kenting National Park features geological sites at Maopitou and Eluanbi Lighthouse.
