Yuji did an amazing job of ensuring a smooth trip, while being very flexible to the desires of the group. He planned beautifully and gave us the skills and confidence to navigate on our own for our free time. He kept the group from frittering away time and shared insights into history and culture for the many highlights. Had we tried to do this trip on our own, we would optimistically have been able to see half as much and would have entirely missed some very memorable experiences, like Hakone. We did the family tour and would highly recommend for families with kids 9-16.

The trip was a delightful experience for everyone in our group. As first-time visitors to Japan, we found the cultural heritage deeply engaging. It was particularly interesting to see the preservation of cultural features that originated during the Tang Dynasty.

Hakone draws visitors with its distinctive "Pirate Ship" cruise across Lake Ashi and the active volcanic valley of Owakudani where kids can try the local black eggs. The coastal town of Kamakura combines beach time with cultural sites. One TourRadar traveler mentioned: "The Mt. Fuji experience was breathtaking - my kids loved the Pirate Ship ride on Lake Ashi and seeing the volcanic activity at Owakudani."
