What people love about Christmas & New Year Tours in Italy
- 5-day Best of Italy: Rome, Florence & Venice
The five-day UNESCO Jewels tour was great! We saw a lot at a fast pace, and Clara is an excellent guide. Not only did she know a lot, she also informed of us of the things she didn't know, and they were taken care of by the local guides. Clara was also hilarious and friendly and really made the trip a blast. Pasquale is also—I think I felt one bump during the entire trip. Also, the free time was just the right amount: after seeing so many places in such a short time, it was nice to be able to stroll or even take a break at the hotel. My only complaint was that a couple of the meals weren't very good. However, the other meals were great! I highly recommend this trip and fantastic guide and driver.
- Classical Italy
This short tour gave us a comprehensive introduction to Rome, Florence and Venice. Gaby along with the local tour guides was wonderful and well informed. After sightseeing all day, I found the hotels and their breakfast acceptable though qualitywise they more likely compare to motels than hotels. My only critique was the wording of itinerary, as it was difficult for me to plan my free time in Italy before I arrived to Europe. In Rome, it mentions "visiting Baths of Caracalla, Lateran church" but this is more of a scenic drive by. We did visit Vatican, Colliseum, had a nice view of forum from Palatine hill, Pantheon as advertised. In Florence, we did not visit the palace vecchio or duomo, we just walked by it. I would suggest clarifying the wording of itinerary so we can plan out free time accordingly prior arrival.
- Mamma Mia! - 13 Days/12 Nights
Italy on a budget has been the most amazing experience ever. I've never been to Europe before and am travelling alone. After booking the Mama Mia tour with them I can safely say I will be back and use there services again. All the guides have perfect English, a vast knowledge of all the areas in which I travelled to (the arts, history, activities, food and wine). Professional, friendly on time, over and above helpful. I would highly recommend this company and a huge thank you my wonderful tour guides Sasa, Alessandro, Alice and Mariana I am so grateful to all of you for making my holiday so incredible. I would highly recommend italy in a budget to anyone travelling for your tour company. Forever thankful
