CROATIA SAIL - Split to Split (The Dalmatian Voyager)With so many boat/ bike operators emerging, it is hard to know which to take. We took a Katarina trip on the Seagull last week, and have since been traveling around Croatia and have seen several other operators. The biggest benefit of Katarina for us was the truly international and authentic Croatian experience that we had, which was exactly what we wanted. We were the only (2) Americans on a boat with 28 other Australians, British, Slovenians, Germans and Austrians- and 2 amazing Croation guides who spoke ask of the languages necessary to easily support all guests. The guides were well connected to the places and people that we visited, and when when we went to places with other bikers (often all American groups), it was clear that we were experiencing the sights in more authentic ways. The Captain was great fun and very engaged. This was the perfect experience for us.
