Great trip, interesting places to visit. Have gained so much insight into the history of the region. Nice group of 7 people and an awesome tour leader. It was a very active trip, with lots of walking….not for the faint hearted! As you have to carry your luggage up and down a lots of stairs at train stations and hotels without lifts, you need to be able to lift and carry it yourself. Travel light! Food was good, there was plenty of time to do our own wandering ( and laundry) etc Two or 3 nights in most hotels was very good.Would definitely recommend an Intrepid holiday to anyone who wants to be on the move, learn about the places you are in and see a few places off the beaten path!
