What people love about Africa Tours for Seniors
- Independent South African Sojourn with Victoria Falls & Chobe National Park
Our air carrier got us off to a rough start be delaying our arrival into Cape Town by over 24 hours. And we never heard from or located our Globus host in CT to coordinate how to make up the missed events or start an occurrence report to submit for compensation. However, once things finally got going, the trip was great.

This trip was amazing!!! Beautiful country, accepting and warm people and an absolutely amazing guide! If you do this tour, insist on Khalid! He really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! If you are looking for an authentic trip and cultural enrichment you wont be disappointed. A couple of things…these hotels have great charm except a couple of them but whilst clean, they are very basic! Do not worry about attire and covering knees/shoulders…Moroccans are very accepting no matter what you wear! Bring hand sanitizer and forget the sleeping bag or any long sleeves (we travelled in June and the sahara was warm even at night!) There is no place to do laundry…bring some detergent with you to wash by hand..clothes soon dry! If you want to drink, buy some alcohol at a liquor store (ask your guide!) and bring it with you (if the tour is small and there is space) Moroccans are happy to put it in the fridge wherever you go and you can take it with to your meal! One glass of wine, if you order, is about 90MAD or $9US if you are able to order though but most places do not serve alcohol. Bring plenty of sunscreen…you will need it! Do not pet the stray dogs or cats for safety! Welcome to Morocco!
