Each day was filled with exploration, whether it was tracking the Big Five in the Maasai Mara or visiting a local Maasai village to learn about their traditions. The mix of activities kept the trip dynamic, and I appreciated how the schedule allowed for some flexibility—our guide often adjusted plans based on wildlife sightings and guest preferences. Guide/Driver/Chef: Our guide, Elijah, was a true gem. His deep knowledge of wildlife and the ecosystem enriched every game drive. He had a knack for spotting animals from miles away and shared fascinating insights into their behaviours and habitats. Beyond his expertise, Elijah was incredibly personable, making the experience feel more like an adventure with a friend than a standard tour. His commitment to the local community shone through, adding a meaningful layer to our experience. Special thanks to Ammos and Judy. These 3 made the trip unforgettable. Overall Organization: The trip's organization was impeccable. From the moment we landed in Nairobi, everything was seamless. Great care was taken to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the trip. Overall, this Kenyan safari was an adventure of a lifetime. The stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and rich culture made for a perfect blend. I can’t recommend this experience highly enough—it’s a must for any nature lover or adventure seeker! This tour exceeded all of my expectations in every way. We saw an abundance of wildlife and the experience was nothing short of astounding. The accommodations and food were also extremely good. While the partnership between Tour Radar and National Geographic was good, it was sometimes confusing as to who to contact for certain issues. Our Tour Guide, Rose was tremendous. Extremely knowledgeable, personable, organized: she managed to blend all of the knowledge of the various animals and peoples beautifully.
