This was a fun trip but be ready for full days with lots of walking. The tour manager Valeria and driver Oscar did excellent jobs getting everyone where they need to be and filling us in about the areas we were visiting. Valeria was very helpful in answering questions as well. It covered a lot of ground and the stops along the way were all top notch! The main reason for 4 star instead of 5 is that a few of the tours felt a little rushed, especially the one in Toledo. I think the individual tour guides at each stop did great jobs (sorry I don’t remember every name!) I just think there was enough time allowed. If I had the chance to do again I would and I still recommend this trip!
Andalucia & Toledo, 5 days on TuesdaysWe totally enjoyed the tour and the pace was not too rushed. Because we were driving I requested hotels with parking and locations that allowed us to park the car and leave it until our departure because we could walk or take public transit. Each of our hotels were perfectly situated to allow that. Our only issue was the description in the tour said "24 hour road assistance" and as discussed in our previous inquiry to you that we had to purchase daily coverage or would have incurred large costs had we needed help. As a Canadian who has "24 hours road assistance" from CAA which is more extensive perhaps there should be better clarification in the description of the tour of the limitations.

Fall creates perfect conditions for discovering Southern Spain's cities and rural areas. The Colors of Spain route is particularly good now, starting in ancient Merida with its Roman amphitheater then moving to Seville as crowds thin out and temperatures drop. Our tours visit Cordoba in autumn when you can comfortably explore the narrow lanes of the Jewish Quarter. Driving through Extremadura shows off spectacular fall colors and we stop at family restaurants to try seasonal dishes. Another autumn favorite combines the Alhambra with visits to Ronda and also the Costa del Sol - September and October give you ideal weather for mixing culture and beach time. The Madrid-based routes take advantage of pleasant temperatures for extended walking tours through historic areas.

Winter visits to Southern Spain work really well along the Classical Spain route - you'll start at Madrid's Plaza Mayor before heading south through La Mancha. The cooler weather makes exploring much more comfortable, especially in Cordoba's Mosque-Cathedral and the winding lanes of the Jewish Quarter. Another solid choice focuses on Andalucia with 5 days moving between Cordoba, Seville and Granada when tourist numbers are lower. The Costa del Sol portions offer nice breaks between cultural visits and evening programs come alive with outdoor flamenco shows and dinners in Plaza Mayor.
