I do want to say that the propaganda spread from the United States that Egypt is not safe, in my opinion is hogwash. At no point did I feel unsafe. Michael took great care with each and every one of us. Our group melded incredibly well and some, I believe will stay in contact for life.
I do have a lot of feed back on this trip. First is the agenda. I knew we were seeing a lot, but had no idea how much we were trying to cram in during a short period of time. The first 3 days were very sleep deprived. I wish I had known in advance the pace of the trip was all out for the first 3 days and the early morning wakeups. I understand why, it was just incredibly exhausting.
We were advised we would be greeted at the airport by a tour guide from the tour company. We booked through TourRadar and the trip was contracted out to Timeless tours. We caught a evening flight into Cairo (about 6:30pm) which was late departing, and hence late arriving in Cairo. When we arrived in Cairo, there was confusion on our part as to who to be looking for…either TourRadar or Timeless Tours. In either case, a tour guide was not there to greet us. We knew we had to get our VISA’s and after doing so, then stood in line at customs and a Timeless Tours tour guide found us about 45 minutes after our arrival. We were ushered out to get our bags and then taken to the transportation to our hotel.
The driver of the taxi spoke little to no English and we were not advised the drive time to the hotel would be about an hour. A suggestion would be to advise the passengers how long the drive to the hotel will be. Being in a foreign country, most passengers are a bit on edge and it would have been nice to know when we got into the taxi.
The first day was awesome and Michael could not have been better at his job. The sights were phenomenal. We got back to the hotel, packed and were on our way to the airport to fly to Aswan. We are so glad we opted for the flight instead of the 13 hour bus ride to Aswan. If passengers are flying out that night to Aswan, they really need to be taken to someplace to purchase food prior to going through security. Due to the fact that it is a domestic flight, there is little to no options for food purchase and the little “café” had run out of almost everything by the time we got there. Our flight was late, and the next day was another early start. Got to bed about 2:30 and up again at 5am. Sleep deprivation was setting in.
In my opinion, Abu Simbel was the highlight of the trip. Awesome! Well worth the early am wakeup. After Abu Simbel, we went back to the boat to continue the Nile cruise. The rest of the day was a well needed relaxing day and night.
After the Nile cruise it was a 5 hour bus ride to Hurgada beach. The first night was just to relax and chill. While here, we had our option of a scuba, snorkel, 4 wheel or day at the resort in Hurgada. We opted for the snorkel since we wanted to see the Red Sea and water life. There were numerous issues with the snorkel trip and looking back on it, it would have been better to have relaxed and stayed at the resort.
The last day was an adventure to Cairo. First was the 3 hour ride to Cairo from Hurgada, and then the Cairo museum. Michael once again gave a an excellent overview and guided us through the museum. Lastly, we were off to the Cairo market. Wow! What an experience at the markets. It was great just to browse. Finally back to our hotel for our last meal and farewell to our new friends. Our flight was early...so another early wakeup to get to the airport.
Overall...an excellent tour. I would definitely recommend it and if at all possible...I would want Michael again as our tour guide. I cannot say enough excellent words to describe his professionalism, his caretaking of everyone, his knowledge and just overall great person. Thank you Michael for showing us Egypt!!

As already mentioned to Michael, our knowledgable, enthusiastic and charismatic tour leader, the tour exceeded our expectations in every way, in terms of the sights, luxurious accommodation, coach tra…As already mentioned to Michael, our knowledgable, enthusiastic and charismatic tour leader, the tour exceeded our expectations in every way, in terms of the sights, luxurious accommodation, coach transportation, meals and the service of all the staff, especially those on the Nile cruise. They were especially welcoming, gracious and bent over backwards to please us in every way. On my husband's Special Birthday, the chefs came out of the kitchen, dressed in traditional clothes and surprised him with a customized birthday cake, singing and playing traditional instruments. He was very touched; without a doubt, that was the best birthday he's ever had!
To our surprise, the cabins on the ship were spacious, tastefully furnished with a big, flat screen T.V., and a large window that you could actually open! Not to mention, a bathtub in the bathroom, was an unexpected bonus. The food was also a highlight, not only on the Nile cruise but also at the beautiful Hurghada resort on the Red Sea, where we spent 3 wonderful nights. Wow, what can I say?! We can't wait to return to Egypt with Timeless Tours and spend more time on the Nile cruise as well as in Hurghada.
The trip was well organised. I spent a wonderful time.

As this was my first trip to Egypt all I knew is I wanted to see/do everything I could in 10 days. This trip gave me that and more. I knew there would be limited time at some sites so I added an extra day to revisit the Giza Pyramids on my own at the end. There's some really early days but you can sleep on the bus. I was worried that the two days at leisure in Hurgada would be too much but one day was spent scuba diving the next I slept on a lounge chair on the beach. I needed the rest! The accommodation was standard. Beds were too hard for my comfort. Meals were always buffets and you can always find something you like. Breakfast/Lunch boxes were provided at times and it was so much food. Trust me you'll never go hungry! We had a great group and my roommate and I clicked immediately. Our guide Michael was great and even though a couple times I was a couple feet away snapping pics I really was listening at all times. I would say the worst part of the trip were the vendors as Saqqara as they were beyond persistent. However by the end of the trip I was more hardened to then so my trip alone back to the Giza Pyramids was done with no problem (even walking back to my hotel was done with ease). I never felt unsafe at any time. I had to find a pharmacy and headed off to one around the corner from a restaurant we visited. Everyone we met was welcoming. Do not hesitate to book a trip with Timeless Tours and if you're lucky enough to get Michael Mousa you're sure of a great time!

Personally Michael was able to help me when I was having a banking issue, and he was genuinely interested making sure that everyone from our group was fully satisfied. The transfers by coach were extremely well organized and punctual. Staff members were friendly and accommodating. Felt safe and secure the entire time and noticed that there were extra security personnel on several excursions. I would recommend Egypt to any traveler who’s looking for their next ultimate experience. Although I am not a Facebook person..you cannot beat pictures of the pyramids to post on your page. Thanks again for making our trip special in every way!
Overall tour was good but pulling me and my wife from the original group and putting into another group and a bus in Aswan was humiliating, then we were given a makeshift cabin in the cruise ship at …Overall tour was good but pulling me and my wife from the original group and putting into another group and a bus in Aswan was humiliating, then we were given a makeshift cabin in the cruise ship at the water level, musty damp,horrible dirty carpets, unclean grime toilet and without safety life jackets and with an outdated fire extinguisher was not acceptable to human standards. ( I did inspect cabins of some friendly group members an they were all right).
This experience took the gloss off an otherwise fantastic tour. Of course we were compensated for this experience later by way of upgrades a couple of extra tours and a payback for which I' am thankful.
Having said above my experience, I must say, otherwise it was a great trip, guide was knowledgeable and very helpful, food was great and being vegetarians we did not miss a thing and met a lot of nice people.
Moving forward, letting bygones be bygones, I will sign up with Tourradar if I plan a similar tour as I felt guys are safe and caring.

They were very good and detailed about warning us about vendors, and of all the scams and being street smart in the area. MICHAEL WAS SUCH AN AMAZING TOUR GUIDE! he was extremely informative and such speedy help with any thing I needed ( I was very needy). Everything was excellent and they accommodated my every need ( being a picky vegetarian). He was very funny and outgoing! He spoke perfect clear English and we had excellent conversations! You can tell he loves what he does. The travel between areas was split into comfortable spans ! The cruise was beautiful with a spacious room and the meals on the cruise were very delicious. All the other accommodation were really good too! Everything ran smoothly, Zero Complaints! Highly recommend! And I also cannot stress enough how excellent Michael was! He was able to make sure everyone on the tour had the best trip! He was great at informing us about meeting times and offered excellent recommendations. We often ate meals beside him because he was so entertaining!

First off, Michael is 100% amazing and 5 stars all the way! He arranges to pick some souvenirs and things at a few places, and I could hear other guides price-gauging their groups, and he was always the lowest price and super trustworthy! But we lost him as our guide halfway through the trip and our next guide, while not bad, was no Michael and it was quite evident. I felt a little disappointed, especially in the Egyptian Museum, that we did not get his expertise.
The itinerary was AWESOME! I mean - it’s Egypt! Of course you don’t have enough time at the places you love, and too much time at the places you wish you didn’t. That’s what happens on a group tour, so that wasn’t an issue at all for me. I don’t know WHY they include the Pharaonic Village. Literally a waste of an entire day, because that’s the only thing on the itinerary. If it’s to supplement the lower cost of the tour, I wish they would just say that. Instead, after visiting the real sites of Egypt, you see fake god/dess statues and replicas of sites you have already been to!! It’s clearly designed for children (as evidenced by the HUNDREDS of children that were there on field trips), so if they continue to keep it on there, just skip it. You will literally miss nothing. Although, I’ve never had a guided tour of a gift shop before, so that was interesting, I guess.
Also, BEWARE of the shops they take you to!!!!!!! The Egyptian cotton place is so overpriced!!! Our group bought sheets and scarves, and when we were shopping at the bazaar we saw the SAME products with the same brand/tags and everything for HUNDREDS of Egyptian pounds less. And I can’t even get started on the essential oil place. They basically cheated us out of hundreds of (this time US) dollars. We purchased the 250ml set of 6 bottle set, and they only gave us 200ml bottles, but charged the higher prices. Something we didn’t notice until we got home and started to divide the oil for gifts. Also, DO NOT buy the glass bottles there!!! They sell the same ones both at the Pharaonic Village (if you choose to go) for much cheaper - or in the bazaar (you can get cheaper, but that depends on your negotiating skill!) Thoroughly disappointed, and makes me think they are not authentic shops like they claim them to be, but tourist traps where they make commissions on you. Which again, is fine (similar things happen in China, but they tell you up front, which frees you to make the decision instead of feeling you are getting some high-end deal when clearly you’re not!) but they act like this is some big huge service they offer!
On a side note, I felt that maybe the Highlights trip should have ended in Hurghada, then you fly to Cairo for your flights home. It was kind of strange to go do more touring after 4 days relaxing at a resort.
Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite what I noted above - it truly is amazing! And Timeless really does take care of EVERYTHING at the airport, especially when you arrive for the first time, which removes any and all stress that I had! Would recommend to everyone, but just be aware of the products that you buy.

He joked around and was very friendly to get to know! The tour itself was great, loved it- It was very go go go, which for me (I’m 23) was okay but I can imagine it being a lot for certain people. I do recommend taking the plane ride instead of the bus to Aswan as the roads are bumpy there and it was hard to sleep! The food overall was good, breakfast boxes maybe needed a little more love but hey I’d rather be experiencing everything than eating! Haha
A memorable experience and I would 100% recommended this trip! Thanks so much to the staff and Michael for making this such a great time.

It was generally a successful but exhausting excursion due to very early awakening (3-5am). I think the night transport with the train on long distances is better than the plane, which involves a night without sleep. Packed meals replacing breakfast or lunch were very poor and inadequate. In Cairo should be reserved more time for visits, 1/2 day is absolutely insufficient. on the last day it was preferable to visit other important landmarks in Cairo (coptic Cairo, islamic Cairo, the citadel and others, before pharaonic Village, whose visit does not last more than 2 hours.
The personalized tour in Alexandria did not meet the program we asked, the guide coupled with other tourists who paid the classic tour, so there was no time to visit the Alexandria library and the National museum, which I had specifically asked.
I traveled to Egypt for the first time in November 2015 and had such a great experience and excellent guide that I booked another trip in November 2017 (and requested the same tour guide).

Egypt is safe, the people welcoming and I will again request Michael when I return again this summer.
Michael took care of all our needs and was so patient I dubbed him St. Michael.
People were asked each morning for entrance fees to the particular sight we would be touring that day. No one was pressed for money or asked for tips up front and I have been to two of the orientation meetings.
The Nile cruise was my favorite part of each trip. Nothing better than sailing the Nile, eating great food and Egyptian night was a great time for all.
Hurghada was beautiful and the all inclusive resort was five star. Michael even took care of booking any additional activities for people in our group.
Micheal is very knowledgeable on Egyptian history. If you have a question he knows the answer.
If you want a bang for your buck and a great tour guide, Micheal is the guide and Egypt is the place for you.

The tour would have been memorable if not for the guide Michael. He did nothing to make the group comfortable. The itinerary was very tight but that was we signed in for.
The good:

1. The 5 star Nile cruise was absolutely fabulous. The cabins were better than some of the suites in large cruise ships and the food was excellent.
2, The buffet breakfast that was included in the hotels was excellent.
3. We were met at the airport and immigration was very quick.
4. The boxed breakfast/lunches we got from hotel Oasis and the Nile cruise was excellent.
The bad:
1. After we were met at the airport we had to wait for more passengers to arrive (this was ok) and when we got to the Oasis hotel in Cairo it was a 20 hour journey for us from door to door.
We were not allowed to check in or even have a glass of water but was rushed to a meeting with Michael with our luggage (Later we were told that our meeting should have been the next morning)
Michael went on talking for 1 1/2 hours till 10.30pm. He was mostly asking for all the money for entrances and Egyptian pounds of 250 for tips up front. He also went on talking in detail of the full tour which was not necessary at this point. We finally excused ourselves and left the meeting as we were exhausted.
2. The agent who met us at the airport said that I could change Canadian dollars at the hotel. However, the hotel reception wouldn't change the amount of money that Michael wanted upfront, either USD or CDN. The ATM in the hotel was broken and so was the ATM across from the hotel, in the bank Michael was very annoyed with everyone that we didn't have the money upfront for all the entrances and tips and was going on and on about it
3. Tour radar information sheet said to cash money as you go. This is contrary to what Michael was saying.
4. Tour radar had given a schedule of entrance fees to all the sites but the actual entrance fees were exactly double of what was in the tour radar schedule. So even if we had cashed the money at the airport, it wouldn't have been sufficient. When I pointed it out, there was not even an apology by Michael on behalf of the company and asked us to bring it up with Tour radar as these prices were long outdated. I'm pretty sure this is not the 1st time it happened. He should have advised the Tour radar.
5. We were stopped at an ATM on the way and when we had the cash, he was asking us to come to him one by one to pay the money, while the bus was moving. One lady spoke up to say that there were older people and that he should be coming to us to collect the money.
6. At Como Ombo, we were going by individual horse carriages and he left one group behind. Fortunately there was one lady of the same group in another carriage and had to shout out at Michael to wait that there were 4 people missing.
7. On the 6 hour trip from Hurghada to Cairo, Michael was absolutely silent and the only time he spoke was after 3 hour to say that there was a toilet break. It would have been nice if he had spoken to us throughout our long bus journeys to inform us of the sights and inform us of Egypt in general.
8. The "5-star" resort in Hurghada was large. But I wouldn't call it a 5 star resort. It was build like caves and was very dusty. There was a large array of food but lacking of quality.

In Hurghada and our return to the Oasis hotel in Cairo, we were left to find our rooms in the maze of buildings and most of couldn't find our rooms for a while as there were no proper markings or directions. In Hurghada the '1' and the '7' was written exactly the same. I was having 2nd thoughts about having paid all the tips of 250 Egyptian pounds upfront. In Hughada, atleast our luggage was brought to our rooms but on our return to Oasis we had to take our own luggage to the rooms. (During our first stay at the Oasis the luggage was taken to the rooms)
10. We had no choice of the lunches that we had to buy. We were all taken to a places where there was a buffet and had to pay the full price even if we didn't want to eat a big lunch. In other tours the passengers are given a choice.
11. The boxed lunch we got from the all inclusive resort Caves was sub-par

He was endlessly patient and helpful, gave good advice, and made time on the tour for us to buy medicines and visit the ATM, anticipating whatever we might need. His knowledge of Egypt is amazing. What is more, in addition to the tours, he has a surpassing interest in Egyptian history and culture, and we had several off-line discussions about fine points not covered in the tours. As well, our fellow tourists were friendly and we had a great time with them.

PROS
-Safety. Because of the unrest in the area, my mother and I were feeling a bit scared to travel because of everything we've heard in the news. The tour did an amazing job of not only keeping us safe, but allowing us to feel like we were safe. There was a security person with us who would sit in the front of the coach, and our transportation was a big tall coach bus, so it felt safe being far up from the ground.
-The sites. This one speaks for itself. I appreciate that the tour packed in most of the important sites to see in Egypt in such a limited time. Yes there were some very early mornings, but come on, the tour is trying to pack a lot in so enjoy it, how often are you in Egypt??
-Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything he explained was interesting and he seemed to enjoy what he was talking about. Thank you Michael!

-Accommodations. -----The Oasis Hotel was just fine. A bit dated and the heating didn't seem to want to work in our first room, but everything seemed nice and clean. -----The cruise we went on was a disaster for cleanliness! They would redistribute the same dirty napkins after every meal (and no, you wouldn't be getting the same one you used because they piled them up first). Then on the last day after check out, one of the girls on the tour forgot something and went back only moments after and her bed was fully made! They never changed our sheets! My mother and I even thought something was off because they were kind of grey, but we shrugged it off... this was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The reason I'm leaving this as a mixed review is because our tour guide ASSURED us they were not going to use that cruise company again (Grand Sun I believe was the name). I hope they hold up to this. (The same girl also had a nightmare with laundry, don't even think about getting any done, bring enough clothes) -----Finally the last hotel we stayed at in Hurghada was very nice and clean. It's a bit far from town so you'll have to stay in the resort, though.
-Meals. Some were amazing and some were just okay. The breakfast offered at Oasis wasn't anything special but you could find something to nosh on, and the meals at the final hotel in Hurghada weren't that great but again, things were edible. The pizza was nice! Anytime we were out on a day trip and Michael took us to lunch was usually amazing. My only complaint: Please include this in the price. It was annoying getting hassled on the bus before lunch to 'collect money' for us to all go to the same place.. If we're forced to go to the same place together, why not just include it in the price?
CONS
-Money. It felt like we were always being asked for more money, which was annoying. I knew going in that the entrance fees and tipping would be extra, but I didn't realize to what extent. If it's mandatory for the entire group to go to every site, why not just include it in the price? I didn't feel like I could tip as much as I wanted to because all of these extras that kept being added on. The tour would get a much bigger tip if there were less extras as we went along. Example: extra entrance fees to tombs and such. NOTE: sometimes the guide would sell an extra ticket to something, Abu Simbel or King Tut, and THEN they would tell you that you CANNOT take pictures! This really irked a lot of people who didn't know before purchasing the ticket. Do your research, there are a lot of restrictions that you only get told afterwards. Sneak pictures if you feel inclined, just don't get caught. We never bought a ticket for things and were just fine, just be wary.
-Night bus. While the bus and ride itself wasn't bad (made it in under 14 hours), it was terrifying stopping at all these 'checkpoints' during the night. Be warned, you will see a lot of men holding guns standing everywhere. These are police and military, at every checkpoint, at every corner, literally everywhere. They are there to keep you safe and I stand by that. On the night bus though, when I woke up in the middle of the night to multiple checkpoints with men standing around holding guns, it's not a pleasant site at 2am. Think ahead for this one. If you're a sound sleeper then it shouldn't be an issue! (BUT word of caution, expect a lot of speed bumps towards the end of the trip. Every 30 seconds speed bumps for 4+ hours....
-Extra stops: Be prepared to stop at: An Egyptian Cotton Store, A Perfume Store, A Papyrus Store, An Alabaster Store. I was not prepared for this so I couldn't do any planning for prices ahead of time. Some things are definitely unique and one of a kind, other things I think I paid WAY overprice for. Feel free to look up these items BEFORE the trip so that when you pop into these stores, you can make the best decisions and remember to always HAGGLE.
-The Market: HAGGLING ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH! I was taught the rule to ask for half what they are asking, they've caught on. They ask for an exorbitant amount of money, and even after haggling I severely overpaid. The next day at the airport I found the same knickknacks I was looking for for 1/8TH OF THE PRICE! Okay, wow! Don't believe anything, nothing is special or one of a kind. If you absolutely love something, totally get it and bargain hard, but if you just want a few knickknacks, the airport will have everything you need at a fraction of the cost!
-Wifi. ADVICE: get a sim card! Wifi is super spotty, I couldn't connect anywhere without an Egyptian phone number or by paying the hotel/cruise/going to the lobby's 'free' area, and, literally it was just terrible. A sim card gives you something like 6 Gigs of data and works amazingly well to stay connected.
-Tourradar false review distribution: for this tour it says that there are no 2 or 1 star reviews, there are 2 star reviews. The way I prepared for the trip is by reading the 2 star reviews as well as the 3 star reviews. This gave me an accurate representation of how to prepare. Some other reviews even broke it down by pricing which is helpful. Be prepared to be asked for entrance fees and tipping fees on your first day, I forget the amount, but they will always tell you where the nearest ATM is. Don't bring funds to convert it's a hassle, just withdraw enough money at a time.
Finally Thoughts:
-Would I recommend this trip? Yes! Even though there are many things to complain about, you have to remember that Egypt is a different world. Don't expect your 5 star North American Standards, go in with an open mind and you will have an amazing experience. I can honestly say that I don't think another tour in Egypt would have done a better job, thanks for everything!

What really made this tour brilliant was Michael, our amazing knowledgeable, patient and kind tour guide who taught us so much, sharing his vast knowledge of Egyptian history and art as we travelled to and visited each temple, necropolis, Museum and pyramid. I highly recommend coming to Cairo a few days early and staying a few days after the tour to take advantage of the other side trips also offered such as the day trip to Alexandria as well as the church in the caves (the drive to get there is really something!). They are all equally well organised. Missing beautiful Egypt already.

Just be ready to wake up early many mornings, like 3-4 AM, to get ready for the day's jam packed itineraries. I'm a morning person so I did not mind and I am glad I fit in as much in as I could. There are a lot of optional excursions you can do that do not interfere with the regular tour guide schedule. I recommend the Nubian dinner and the snorkeling/scuba tour. I also recommend bringing or purchasing extra snacks to bring for the day as some days you don't get to eat lunch until 2 PM and the sack lunches from the hotel are just ok. Michael, our tour guide kept everything running smoothly and was a great sport with our group of 9 upbeat friends. I would definitely recommend him and this tour to anyone looking for a whirlwind tour of Egypt!

The planned excursions were all great and I would highly recommend the Balloon trip and taking the flight to Aswan instead of the bus. I would also recommend bringing a lot one $1 dollar bills for tipping, as you will need them for using the bathroom facilities. The hotels are all clean and comfortable, and the although you may not spend much time on the Cruise ship except for sleeping, the rooms are large enough and the buffet style food was quite decent, sitting on the top deck while cruising down the Nile has some spectacular views, and tea and crepes at 3 pm is very nice.

The musuem was amazing it had the mummies in it along with all 3 eras of the egyptians. The night tour with the temple crocodiles was my personal favorite seeing the mummified crocs was amazing how they was preserved along with their system of judging the level of the nile river to know how to tax the people. You do get up early most days but that because u r traveling to different locations all over. It can seem a bit hectic but michael always kept us on track and allotted us enough time to take in all the culture. Michael was very knowledge went way above to accommodate us for everything we needed.

This tour is of great value. You are able to see so much of Egypt in such a short period of time, and our guide had an amazing wealth of knowledge. Staff were always welcoming and helpful. Egypt is definitely a must-travel country. You need to be here at least one time in your life. Michael, our tour guide, was also very friendly and knowledgeable about our tour destinations.
CONS: the accommodations, which were advertised as 3-5 stars, were definitely not this. At least, not in US standards. The food was also questionable at times. Expect to pay for EVERYTHING (bathroom use, water, MANDATORY tips, etc). The busses were dirty and so were the hotel rooms.
Loved the camel ride and balloon experience. Michael is very informative and compassionate. Making sure everyones needs are met. We learned a lot here. Would definitely recommend this trip!!

The Nile cruise was a unexpected highlight. Every moment possible, get on deck and enjoy seeing the Nile pass by. We were able to see everything in 9 days, which one you visit Egypt, you realize how amazing that is to do. I recommend giving yourself an extra day in Cairo at end to do anything you might have missed, walk around Coptic/Islamic Cairo or do some shopping.

We had our 8 year old child with us and except traffic in Cairo that is chaotic FOR A EUROPEAN, there is nothing we found dangerous.
We've chosen Timeless because they covered our points of interest and because they were very flexible with our plans: we arrived 2 days earlier in Cairo and left the tour in Hurgada for an extra 5 days of Red Sea. Even so, the extra days of accommodation in Cairo were arranged by them (payed by us) and they assured transfer from our chosen hotel in Makady Bay to the Airport as part of original package.
Now, this is a tour designed to cover the major historical sites. If you want to go there to impress your girlfriend or to....."relax" just go to Hurghada directly and have your beauty sleep. Times of departure were early and I found this very good because of the heat. Schedule is tight and if you are late, you are affecting the whole group. Planing of trips may look tough but you can not do it otherwise in mentioned time.
We had the Nile cruise, which we found to be unexpectedly beautiful, in a quite accommodating ship. Food was satisfactory and we did not encounter medical issues, even though we took no special precautions except not drinking tap water. By the way, pharmacy stops are as often as needed and ATM stops, as often as possible.
The guiding: We went with Michael.
It is so hard to write a review about someone you consider a friend after just 7 days, but I will give it a try.
With a voice that covers the background noise, this man will give you the information you are prepared to receive.
He can reassure you that what you were looking at for the last half hour are indeed the pyramids and he can do it without making you uncomfortable or others laugh. Or he can take the discussion to an encyclopedia level if you are prepared for it. If you are past this level, to philosophize about the will of old Egypt gods is a pleasure.
He dedicated all his time making sure his guests needs are met with, so we really felt welcomed.The guy is remarkable. Some of the tourists do not realize what a vast culture and knowledge a guide has and tend to consider a guide as a service provider. The guides there have more school than some of the tourists. So we are giving him now, from home, what we failed to give him there: a round of applause.
The minuses of the tour, because it had minuses:
1. Success of the tour is given by the level of the tourists. In our tour there were some people that were in the wrong tour (if not in the wrong country). The level of information given by the guide is proportional with the level of knowledge of the tourists and we had some people that dragged this level down. Michael however managed very well in both answering smart question and assuring some that the big thingies in front of them are obelisks and not some Nubian monument.
2. There is room for improvement when it comes to the accommodation in Cairo, we found our room in hotel Oasis to be quite dirty.
3. Pillow as hard as bricks I like MINE soft as feathers.
These were some points I wanted to highlight. The rest was magic and, me being an engineer, I don't know how to express feelings in words.

I advise to upgrade to the internal flight from luxor to Hurgada and ask how many ppl will take the bus with you from Hurgada to Cairo on your way back: the less you are the small will be your couch. We were 9 ppl so we ended up to have a small minivan which is extremely uncomfortable for a 6 hrs drive!

Our tour guide was Michael who is very good, he was informative about what our plans were for the day and is full of knowledge and also has a great sense of humour. We made some lovely new friends within the group, I do recommend this trip.

Always felt safe my whole trip while with the group and our tour leaders. Michael was an amazing and knowledgeable guide. He has so much information about everything in Egypt. If you want to buy something, ask Michael how much you think you should pay before seeing the vender, was useful to know if they were trying to rip you off bad. Definitely upgrade from the overnight bus to flight and hotel if you can, well worth it. Bring along snacks and buy some along the way when you can, as they don't often stop for an actual lunch and the breakfast boxes are mostly unknown meat and cheese sandwiches. The last couple days at the all inclusive were perfect. The resort was really nice and was a great way to end a busy trip by relaxing and drinking. Would highly recommend booking with this company!

Never felt unsafe at all while with this tour company. Food was okay, I would buy and bring snacks when you can as lunch does not seem to be a high priority and the breakfast boxes are mostly buns and lunch meats. Would highly recommend doing Abu Simbel as well as the hot air balloon (neither of these takes time away from anything else). Michael was great and super knowledgeable on everything we did and saw. As a female, I wore tank tops and shorts (as it was hot), and sure there was some unneeded attention sometimes, but never felt harassed. The all inclusive resort at the end was a great way to end the trip as well. Great resort! The rest of the accommodations were average, but did not really matter as they were mostly just places to sleep and shower and you were not there long. Overall, amazing time and trip!

My younger sister and I took the Alexandria optional tour with Shiko. He was very knowledgeable in the history of Alexandria and was able to find us lunch in an amazing restaurant overlooking the sea at an affordable price! I would highly recommend anyone traveling to Egypt for there first time to take this optional tour and maybe you will be lucky to get Shiko as your guide.

First things first, if you’re on the fence about going to Egypt because you hear it’s dangerous, trust me, it’s not. At no point on my trip did I ever feel a sense of danger – if anything, I actually …First things first, if you’re on the fence about going to Egypt because you hear it’s dangerous, trust me, it’s not. At no point on my trip did I ever feel a sense of danger – if anything, I actually felt safer than in most places I’ve traveled to. Keep in mind that tourism comprises a huge part of Egypt’s economy, and the government clearly puts a lot of effort into protecting what they consider to be a very valuable asset (us!). With tourism down, now is absolutely the time to go, since it means you’ll be able to snap off your pictures without thousands of people cluttering your shots.
My GF and I went with the 9 Day Nile Jewel package from Timeless Tours. The other half of our tour group did the Felucca Odyssey. Both groups will be traveling together and seeing the sights together. The only real difference is how you spend the evenings toward the middle of your trip. If you do Nile Jewel, you’ll spend a few of your nights on a cruise ship, with all the usual cruise ship stuff. That means buffet dinners, air conditioned hotel-like rooms (with a view, TV, your own bathroom, etc), a pool on the top deck, and a bar. If you do the Felucca Odyssey, you’ll be sleeping under the stars in a sleeping bag and carrying along your own toilet paper. In my opinion, go with Nile Jewel if you want comfort and privacy. If you want more of a bonding experience with your group, where you spend the night laughing and chatting, nothing beats Felucca, especially if you’re a solo traveler.
Now, about the tour itself – it was AWESOME. Timeless Tours did an amazing job running everything, and at no time did I ever feel lost or confused. First off, we were greeted right off the plane by a man with a sign (I’m sorry, I forgot his name!). This guy made us feel extremely VIP – he led us to where we needed to go, skipped the lines, and spoke to all the officials for us. He got us to our car, where we were introduced to Romani. Romani made us feel very comfortable, and he gave us some information about the city as we drove toward the hotel. Once where, he got us set up with our room and told us to come to the lobby to meet with the tour guide and the rest of our group.
Our main tour guide was Michael, and I could double the size of this massive review with just how incredible he was. By the end of the trip, he didn’t feel like just our guide – he felt like our friend, and I would gladly go on tours all over the world if Michael could always be our guide. His English is 100% fluent, on the level of somebody born and raised in the US. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the different locations and always answered everybody’s questions. Seriously, Timeless Tours, you guys have a WORLD-CLASS tour guide on your hands with him! Ram was our secondary guide, and he was incredible too. Although we didn’t spend as much time with him, he did a wonderful job managing us during the cruise and later at the Egyptian Museum, where he gave us a lot of amazing information.
Other cool things – Michael constantly advised us on when it was worthwhile to buy something on the road and when it was better to wait until the market trip on the last day, so that we wouldn’t get ripped off. Speaking of the market, Timeless Tours provided an actual undercover police officer to walk us around the shops on the last day, which was amazing, and made us feel secure despite the busy market atmosphere. They also upgraded our train from Cairo for Aswan at no additional charge, which was beyond amazing.
Lastly, something I didn’t know the tour would include but it actually ended up being one of my favorite parts – the culture field trips we did between seeing all the various sights. On each of the main viewing days, we were taken to see a genuine Egyptian business, where the shop owner would tell us about their ancient craft and show us how they do what they do. For us, it was an essential oil business, a papyrus business, a cotton business, and a stone carving business. We actually disliked the stone one since you could tell the guys were trying to rip you off by quoting numbers 4x higher than the number they eventually sold at. they also acted unprofessionally at the end, where even after we bought several things, they stopped us outside the shop to give my GF a “free” rock, then asked for a tip. When I gave one, he then looked around and said there’s three other guys there to tip too. We walked away at that point, irritated at how different the attitude was at that shop compared to the previous ones. On the other end of the spectrum, the essential oil and papyrus stops were amazing. The oil demonstration was actually one of my favorite parts of the entire trip – the guy was funny, kind, not pushy, and made everyone very happy with their purchases (I even overheard one of our group members say “This is one of the first times in my life that I haven’t felt ripped off after buying something.”) Timeless Tours, DEFINITELY keep working with those essential oil and papyrus businesses!
For optional excursions, you need to do Abu Simbel. It’s one of the most iconic sights in Egypt, up there with the pyramids. We also did the Cave Church and would 100% recommend that one too. Visually, it’s amazing, the price is perfect, and our guide there was really sweet. Lastly, we did the Nubian Dinner, and that was another highlight of the trip – the boat ride was a great bonding experience, and the family that hosted us in the village was really sweet. That’s all the optional stuff we did, but other group members did water stuff in Hurghada and said they saw wild dolphins, so maybe that would’ve been cool too.
Anyway, this is the longest review of my life, but those were my thoughts – if you want to go to Egypt, do it NOW, before the crowds come back, and go with Timeless Tours and their Nile Jewel or Felucca Odyssey package, and ask for Michael and Ram!

The included itinerary covers most of the highlights and the few optional tours complete the trip. Having said that, Egypt is not a beginners trip for most people. Culture shock is unavoidable. You should have a prescription for stomach ailments. The peddlers will follow you and they do not like to take no for an answer. You will see plenty of automatic rifles in the hands of the Egyptian army and security forces. We never felt concerned for our safety. The one included boat tour in Cairo on the last day of the Pharaonic village was not very good. The rest of the tours were great. The people were friendly and the tour guides professional.

The tour guides (Michael and Shady) were helpful most of the time. It was very nice to have an actual egyptologist to explain the scenes from hieroglyphs and even try to teach us how to read some of it. I've always been fascinated with Egyptian history/mythology/culture and I'm glad that an expert was there to explain us in details about what we were looking at. Almost every temple, structure that we saw took my breath away. The accommodation was good in that we were given food boxes whenever we had to leave early. Having said that, I wish the food were a bit better as some people (like me) don't like to eat far too many bread in one day and all we get from our food boxes were sandwiches/breads. The felucca was a fantastic experience and I wish it could have been 2 nights instead of just 1 just to completely soak the experience all in. Even having a sand storm in one of our tours (evening stroll in Luxor temple) was an adventure in itself. I'd gladly recommend this experience with other people (and I already did!).

At first I thought that there will not be enough time to check out the temples and sites but it turns out that the 1-1.5 hrs free time given to us after the lecture were more than enough.
The nile cruise was one of the highlights of this trip for me. I liked seeing everyday nile river every day life pass before me. Abu Simbel was worth the 3.5hrs drive each way. Even though I consider myself well-travelled, I would not be able to put together a tour as good as this. There were a lot of small experiences that made the tour memorable.
I was impressed with our tour guide Michael Mousa with his mastery of Egyptian history and the correct view that history is not absolute as historical interpretation changes with more information. Michael gave us advices on everything --- which optional tickets are worth paying for, shopping, managing vendors, packing, what to wear. All these were on point. One just needs to follow his instructions and advises and he'll be okay. He calmly managed the group encouraging interaction while handling disruptive tour participants.
I would recommend timeless tours, the 9 day Nile Jewel and our guide Michael Mousa to family and friends. I plan to bring my family to Egypt next year and I would like them to experience exactly the same thing -- the 9 day Nile Jewel and the tour guide.

I felt completely safe and at ease during the entire tour. The Egyptian people are very friendly. One does have to learn to tolerate the vendors but for the most part if you say no, they leave you alone. This tour was excellent and a dream come ture for me. I thoroughly recommend it.

However, the trip on a whole was an amazing experience and for anybody wishes to travel to Egypt and see as much as they can in 9days then this is absolutely the trip for them. The group was fantastic, although mixed age range and the interaction was very pleasant.
I know everyone has safety concerns when it comes to Egypt nowadays, but having done this, I consider them unjustified. As a matter of fact, I have completely forgotten all about that once the tour started. Same goes for the clothing issue - you can wear sleeveless tops and shorts without a problem, as long as you can put up with the locals staring.
It's best if you address them all your questions before going, so you can prepare.
Go with an open mind, bring enough energy and money for all the extra activities and do as many as you can, they are all worth it.
I warmly recommend it to everyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

I would suggest bringing snacks while traveling, small change for public toilets and extra toilet paper/baby wipes. I also upgraded to the flight from Cairo-Aswan as the bus ride is 13 hours!

I did most of the excursions from camel riding in the pyramids, hot air ballooning seeing Luxor at different angle & my first scuba dive with Octopus diving center red sea thanks to Mohammed my instructor for being so calm that I won’t panic underwater. Of course cruising the Nile river was amazing. Weather cooperates except for a day in Abu Simbel where we get to experience the real sand storm which is part of the adventure. Everyone in our group was nice & happy

TIMELESS TOURS was just amazing has represented Egypt at its best. We were so nervous about going to Egypt but this tour made all of those fears go away. Upon arrival, we were met by a representative who assisted us. We already have an Egypt Evisa so it didn't take us much time going through passport control and then customs. Hotel transport went well. We arrived at our hotel at around 2 in the morning and was met by Sam, who helped us get checked in and also suggested a day tour to Alexandria as we have arrived a day early. After travelling for 30 hours, we were so tired and a friendly person to greet us made a lot of difference. We really felt WELCOMED (That was just the start of our adventure). My friend and I completed the 9 day Nile Adventure and was very impressed with our tour leader, Michael. His organization skills and knowledge about Egypts history is extremely amazing. Along the way, we met up with other tour guides, George and Medhat. Everybody made sure that we are comfortable, safe and enjoying our travel experience. All sights are amazing, the balloon ride, just awesome. The overnight felucca was the best part of the trip. We had super fun and laughter with George. We also had a blast exploring the Egyptian Museum and the Market with Medhat. Overall the trip was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious and the people were friendly (Most especially in Aswan). Hotels were Ok and the staff are nice. I have done a lot of travelling around the globe and Egypt trip, by far is the best. Great trip. I knew I was booking a 4 week trip into 10 days so I was prepared for the hustle and bustle. Michael was incredibly knowledgeable, and had fantastic patience for constant questions. Food was ok, might change up the buffet restaurants along the way. Nile Cruise was fantastic, and Hurghada same, amazing.
My only complaint would be the optional excursions and how they are organized. Pre trip a full, I mean every possible excursion I would run into list with breakdown. During trip I would either have pre-paid, or collected money for optional excursions. It was a cluster always keeping track of each day who paid, and seemingly new costs popping up.
One thing I truly loved was the order in which we did everything was as close to "in order" as I can imagine. Ex Old to New Kingdom, Seeing kink Tuts mummy in the Valley and the rest at the museum. Actually finishing with the museum is exactly how I would do it again.
All in all I would travel with Timeless Tours again, and 100% go back to Egypt. Lifetime trip

Our tour guide Peter was extraordinary and lead us through everything with ease. We got to see amazing things and learn a lot about the history of ancient Egypt. The only con was that our overnight bus from Cairo to Aswan was freezing and there seemed to be nothing to be done about the 13-hour cold ride. I'm so happy I chose to do this tour and suggest it to all! I was a solo female traveler with the group and never felt alone!

Please please do not worry about safety in Egypt. We found the local people to be charming and we often were supplied with local police and military escorts when on the bus. Egypt is totally fine to travel - provided you go with a reputable tour company like Timeless Tours. Tourradar are great to deal with and so responsive to every answer to our questions via email. Every detail is taken care of by these guys and we found the accommodation and food on offer to be satisfactory for the money paid for this tour. All the transfers were excellent and we were always met with a smiling face holding a sign from the tour company. You will be challenged with some very early am starts and some cultural shock (if you are not a seasoned traveller) but do not worry - you won't regret doing this tour. Thank you so much to our terrific guides Michael and Shady who were on call 24/7 and with us all the way on our fabulous journey. The final word is.. book in for the tour you like and just GO.

After a troublesome start in Cairo a few days before our tour started, it was a relief starting on the first days tour with our guides expert and engaging interpretations of the step pyramids. For the remainder of the trip both of our guides continued to be an endless resource for Egypt's rich history. Both guides where genuinely interested to ensure everyone was accommodated at all times especially regarding food requests and when errors happened they there to ensure it was corrected. Through out the trip I was impressed by the quality of accommodation especially regardless of being a budget tour. A few things to watch out for are is the long bus ride from Cairo to Aswan (13hrs with limited bathroomstops) and limited freedom for finding your own food and water. Overall, the expert management of the trip went beyond my expectations and has opened the door to traveling in Egypt.

These excursions were expensive, mostly run by outside operators, and did not deliver what we expected. The Desert Safari was just weird.

I knew that Egypt hosted one of the oldest civilizations in the world, but I did not realize how grand that civilization was until I stood in front of the monuments, tombs,…I really enjoyed this trip. I knew that Egypt hosted one of the oldest civilizations in the world, but I did not realize how grand that civilization was until I stood in front of the monuments, tombs, and temples that are still standing after thousands of years, with a high level of detail and mastery. Our guide Michael Mousa is to thank for all of the information he provided, giving historical context and explaining the different theories made around the pharaonic mysteries. His passion for the Egyptian history is commendable!
Besides the history, Egypt has also delivered in terms of security and cultural experience, the trip was safe and secure from beginning to end, and the people were nice and welcoming, especially in Aswan and Luxor. The Felluca trip was one of the highlights; it was relaxing and very comfortable (it had a proper toilet and was not cold at night) and Captain Mahmoud, the crew and Georges were of great company.
If you are taking this trip, prepare yourself for many early mornings (4 am early), try top pack some food or long bus trips, do not expect much food diversity in the open buffets, and make your peace with the fact that you can not spend all the time you want in the temples (after all there is a lot to cover and only few days to do it).

All of the ancient monuments, temples and tombs were phenomenal. Abu Simbal is definitely a site to see. I also enjoyed our relaxing day snorkeling in the Red sea.
Everyone working at the hotel in Cairo, Hurgada, and the river boat were very attentive and extremely friendly. The bus drivers and other people helping with our tour were all very helpful, timely and great at their profession.
Our tour guide Michael Mousa is a very intelligent and wonderful person. He is extremely knowledgable and was able to thoroughly answer any question I or anyone in our group had. He was able to bring confidence to this trip running smoothly!
All and all I had the most amazing and memorable time in Egypt. Thank you for this experience of a lifetime.

I travelled with my wife and 3 children and our accommodation was always clean as were the coaches and all staff were friendly and couldn't be faulted with regards to servicing all our needs.
The Nile cruise staff were especially friendly and treated in a very friendly and welcoming manner.
We always felt safe and secure on the tour and our faithful guide was constantly doing head counts and waiting for us to catch up.
A highly recommended experience especially for families as yes they do cater for us as they would for couples or single travellers alike.

I had a wonderful experience with Timeless Egypt. Highlights of the trip were spending the 2 days in the ancient city of Luxor with Ramiz, the Hot Air Balloon ride in Luxor and the Camel Rides near the Pyramids.

- Must see is Abu Simbel, Hot air balloon over the west Bank! We did the Safari and it wasn't what we were looking for so I would suggest to ask more questions about it before booking it.
- Food was generally good. The cruise ship had a great selection of salad and vegetarian dishes. Lunch bag was so so if you are vegetarian, you will get bread and bananas... But if you eat meat you'll have a hunk of meat in your sandwich... Our guide suggested Mekka a restaurant in Awsan, walking distance to the pier and it was by far the best Egyptian food we had!!! Baba ganoush was to die for!!!

I really liked our group size too. we had 12 people and i found we all really could bond and everyone would look out for one another. it was easy to keep up with the guides having a group of this size. we saw groups much larger on the trip and were just very grateful for our tour. this whole tour, from the moment we stepped off the plane, was a great time. we stayed at the hotel cecilia downtown, before and after our tour (because we had a few extra days) and hanny was very accommodating in arranging transfers and hostel. thank you to everyone involved with timeless, you've given me an unforgettable travel experience , and i hope to come back one day soon.

We had two tour leaders michael mousa for the first 9 days he was very knowledgeable and helpfull and shady anwer ( chicko) for they rest. He was also very knowledgeable and nothing was to much trouble for him from organising day trips to restaurant reservations everything went perfect. The hotels were all good and transport was also good.
The only thing I recomend not to do is the optional dessert safari at Hurghada it is not run by timeless and the equipment is in terrible condition, the staff are continually yelling at you to stay in one line while on the atv's and food was the worst I had while in egypt.
I would definitely recomend both these tour leaders and timeless tours.

Mike, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and watched over us at all times. I had also worried about the proper dress for the country and found that western dress was accepted everywhere. ( Something that would have been nice to know BEFORE I packed my long sleeved tops and head scarfs.)I did find the 115 degree weather daunting and would advise going in cooler weather. The tour I signed up with through Tour Radar was not filled and so I joined with another tour. I would have appreciated a heads up on this BEFORE I arrived in Egypt so that I could arrive earlier to acclimate . I would recommend a visit to Egypt for everyone and plan on returning myself.

It's a very fast paced tour but this meant that we got to see a lot more of Egypt than we'd imagined. A couple of tips: allow a budget for extra day trips and optionals because there's an incredible selection, if you can't sleep on buses then it might be worth paying a bit extra to get hotel stays and flights the next morning on these nights, chose the felucca over the night cruise, and be prepared to meet awesome people, see amazing sights and have a great time!

When planning the trip,my main concern was safety and that was the reason I paid for the tour and I ended up getting a lot more than I expected. I felt safe at all times, we had private guards, and we took advantage of time in ways I would not have had I been without the tour. My recommendation is to upgrade to plane tickets instead of ground transportation for 12 hrs. The people that went by bus were super tired and got delayed by traffic at times. Entrance tickets are not included in the tour price, it's like 100 egyptian pounds per attraction, and there are some optional additional activities available to be paid in dollars. I did the hot air balloon, snorkeling, and Abu simbel. Totally worth paying for those. So keep in mind not exchanging all your dollars to egyptian pounds. I only exchanged 200 dollars and it was enough for the 10 days. Beware that when paying with credit card they add 3% to the total amount, and your bank won't see it as a foreign exchange fee, so highly recommend to bring cash dollars to pay without the extra fee. The tour guide we had was very knowledgeable and helpful with tips to getting around. I loved how the tour arranges everything for you so you can just relax and not worry about logistics. That is priceless. A little tedious sometimes that since they keep you in a group, you feel like children in a family and have to reach agreements about how long to stay here and there, and you can't take your time at doing certain things. But for the most part the tour works with you to accommodate everyones desires when possible. Other than that, great experience overall. My group was diverse but pretty cool luckily. I'm happy I chose this tour over other available options

Camel ride in Giza, hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings in Luxor (Wow!!), side trip to Abu Simbel, night on felucca in Aswan, downtime in Hurghada, many temples, so much history. Recommend you consider internal flights rather than overnight bus if you desire some comfort in your travel. Take bus if adventurous. Bring toilet paper and small Egyptian pounds with you for toilet stops, drink heaps of water and expect to be hot. Our tour leader Michael was faultless. Professional, patient and very knowledgeable who was generous with his time and advice, and led and co-ordinated all our needs seamlessly. Timeless Tours made everything so easy including transfers, additional accomodation on either side of the tour and additional day tours outside of the standard itinerary. Be prepared for the frenetic pace and congestion of Cairo, the dry and humid high temperatures across the different regions of the country, the slower pace of service. Open you mind and heart, leave your everyday life behind and you will love visiting here. The valley of the kings was mind blowing. Some of the excursions are not included in the tour price. I would recommend the balloon ride and snorkelling/diving at the Red Sea. Would recommend to all who want to know more about the history and mythology of ancient Egypt. 5 stars!

His friendly and warm aura made us feel very safe and well informed throughout the whole tour. I would also like to thank pebo for being so friendly and smiley.
The two hotels included in the tour oasis and lotus were of decent standard, both having pools for guests to use, at lotus there is complimentary wifi in the lobby/reception area but at oasis you have to pay, but it's very affordable.
Transport throughout the tour was efficient, the 2 overnight trains included in the package are not too uncomfortable compared to the overnight transport I have been on as a backpacker around the world, although on the way back to Cairo from Luxor the airconditioning was on full blast, which made it very very cold so make sure you pack a pair of trousers and a couple jumpers to keep you warm.
Overall for the amount you are paying it was a great tour and it includes many different sites and entry into egypts famous tourist spots, but without a doubt Michael was the one who made the tour so memorable. For anyone thinking about booking this tour, Michael will not dissapoing.

Our guide Michael was possibly the best guide I have ever had on a tour. He is knowledgeable, flexible and just a very good person you'd naturally want to call a friend.
The overnight trains were rough and the hotels were ok (no wifi, pretty average food etc.) but given the price we paid for, I think it's acceptable.
We have been shown most of the major attractions in the short time we had but one thing I would've wanted to see more was the more local side of Egypt (i.e. given a free time to walk around the non-touristy part of downtown).
Otherwise I enjoyed my time on this tour and would recommend it to anyone looking for a highlights tour of Egypt.

He answered every question we had in great detail, his knowledge of Egypt is undeniably a great asset to timeless tours and have nothing but positive things to say about him. It was an absolute pleasure to have him in our company for the 5 days we were in Egypt.
Both the oasis and lotus hotel provided the basics and were standard hotels, oasis you have to pay for the internet however at lotus there is free wifi in the lobby which is helpful.
The 2 over night trains included in the tour are on the more comfortable side of overnight transport I have experienced although on the way back from Luxor to Cairo the airconditioning was awfully cold so pack a long pair of trousers and a couple jumpers to stay warm during the night.
We did have a little trouble at the airport where we were to meet a representative to take us to our hotel but we found him in the end thanks to some friendly egyptair workers at the airport.
Overall for the price you pay for the tour everything was great. But again Michael was sure a highlight of this trip, And also a thank you to Pebo, for always smiling and being so friendly. Thank you so much.

We always had a air conditioned van where my father could take a break and rest if he needed to.
Michael, our tour guide was amazing. Not only very knowledgeable, but also very accommodating of all the things we wanted to do. Not only was he helpful to my father, but also took me and my cousin out to experience some Egyptian night life in Luxor and Hurghada. On our last night on our trip, Michael and Hany helped me arrange a nice dinner on the Nile river in Cairo, as well as use of our driver and tour van to take us there free of charge. They really went above and beyond. We had an amazing trip, truly the trip of a lifetime. Timeless Tours and their staff were amazing. I'd highly recommend any of their tours through Egypt. We felt very safe and all of our need and were seen to.

I'm glad he did! I didn't realize how cold Egypt is in March and I would have been extremely cold on that boat ride. Instead, we went on the . The buffet food was absolutely amazing with Egyptian food served every day alongside a salad bar and dessert table. The cooks and servers alike were extremely friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was very cozy and I slept very good every night. The cruise down the Nile witnessing the beautiful sunsets were a cherry on top.
As for the other parts of the tour, Cairo tour was better than I could have anticipated. Our guide, Mostafa, was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel safe at all times. The sleeper train was an experience that was most memorable in a funny way. Not exactly how I would like to spend my nights with all the noise and less than cleanly rooms and bathrooms but enough to rely on it for transportation in the future. Our guide for most of the trip, Michael, was most friendly, felt like I was hanging out with a long friend. It was a blast just hanging out and learning the history of the temples and tombs in Luxor, Aswan, Nubian village and Abu Simbel. Every bit of my vacation was purely a treat. And lastly, Bisho, the tour coordinator made my trip as safe and secure as possible. He provided a sim card so I could have access to internet. He provided transportation to and from the airport and he coordinated my pcr test. I couldn't have felt more appreciative to everyone.

They booked the additional pre tour accomodation and trips quickly and were very responsive to my communications. They met us at the airport and from then on really handled all the arrangements. As parents with 5 children aged 11 to 17 we really appreciated someone else taking care of all of this. The tour guide Michael was excellent. Seeing the ancient sights was fantastic and combining it with shopping stops at papyrus factory, alabaster factory and perfume factory was a nice post sightseeing idea. The tour is packed with a lot of sightseeing so we decided to come a couple of days early and stayed on a couple of extra days at Hurghada. This really helped us to cope. There are quite a few early morning starts and the overnight bus ride to Aswan took about 14 hours. We decided to skip the Abu Simba trip because it left at 3am. Instead the guide arranged for us to take a fallucca trip to the botanical gardens which was very enjoyable. The accomodations and food were pretty good and we really enjoyed the river cruise. Remember to bring quite a lot of cash or atm cards. We paid for the visas at the airport in cash then tips for the week, entrance fees and additional nights at the hotel were also collected in cash. I thought I would be able to use credit cards more but mostly it was cash required. Overall, we had a great time and I would highly recommend this tour.

Also, all the extra money you are going to spend there is not just the entry fees, but hundreds in tipping as well.
I felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. But bussing for 14 hours is just not my thing - 9 hours without stops for snacks and bathrooms is not cool.
