Hiking & Trekking Tours & Trips in Puglia
Walking tours in Puglia follow ancient paths that wind through olive groves and coastal stretches, with daily routes covering 3-8 kilometers. Our travelers love exploring Matera's cave homes on foot and spotting rare birds in the limestone cliffs of Alta Murgia National Park. Most tours include overnight stays in both Matera and Alberobello, so you can blend morning walks with afternoon visits to these fascinating UNESCO sites. The routes connect charming whitewashed villages - you'll walk from Cisternino to Ostuni past trulli houses and make stops at local farms for fresh cheese and olive oil tastings.

Italy with Pleasure fulfilled all its promise of an immersion into the countryside, the customs, the architecture, the cuisine, and the people of Puglia. The spacious accommodations were in a renovated antique farm estate that itself oozed charm and served delicious meals. The walks were through gorgeous and interesting countryside and culminated in outstanding lunches consisting of local recipes. Every day we explored a different town each with its unique architecture. Our tour guides, Malcom and Riccardo, could not have been more attentive, knowledgeable and fun. All in all it was an unforgettable week.
