Walking Adventure Tours & Trips in Great Barrier Reef

This 25-day walking trip takes you through New Zealand and Australia, finishing near the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef in Cairns. You'll trek rainforest trails around Franz Josef Glacier and tackle the 6km Kings Canyon Rim walk with its steep 500-step climb in Australia's Red Centre.

You'll snorkel two different spots off the Daintree Coast at the Great Barrier Reef, swimming with sea turtles and checking out the colorful coral. Then there's guided walks through the UNESCO-listed Daintree Rainforest, where you'll wander through 135-million-year-old landscapes.

Take a catamaran from Airlie Beach to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef's coral gardens, where you'll see some of the 9,000 marine species living in these clear waters. Walk coastal trails on Magnetic Island to Horseshoe Bay and look for wild koalas and rock wallabies at dusk, then head to the ancient Daintree Rainforest.

Join Kubirri Warra clan members on Cooya Beach to try traditional spear fishing across the mudflats and through mangrove areas, then head to Mossman Gorge where elevated boardwalks take you through World Heritage rainforest. Later, cruise out to Agincourt Reef on the outer Great Barrier Reef.

Trek through the UNESCO-listed Daintree Rainforest at Cape Tribulation, the world's oldest rainforest at 135 million years. Take the short nature trail to Mount Tozer viewpoint in Kutini-Payamu National Park for mountain vistas, then check out Apudthama National Park's Fruit Bat Falls.
