What people love about Ancient Wonders Tours in Anatolia
- 3 Days Cappadocia & Pamukkale (Included museum entrance fees)
I would 100% recommend this tour! The company were fantastic and everything is meticulously planned down to the finer details. Senol the agent was available 24hrs and he was extremely helpful before and throughout the tour! It’s incredible how much you get to see and experience in 3 days. All bucket list activities. I would recommend to do a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia and to take your swimming stuff when you visit Pumakkale. All of the tour guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Thank you for a fantastic trip!
- Solo-ish Turkey
Great trip! Only being in Istanbul on Sunday we didn't get to do the grand bazaar so that was a let down.
- Fire of Mesopotamia Tour
I'm a blue collar dad from Wisconsin and took my daughter on this tour for summer vacation. This is my second time booking with a local tour agency and it is clear that is the best way to experience somewhere exotic. The hotels Fez chose may seem just pretty good at first, but add the locations they are in, the service, convenience and experience they put you in and they are outstanding. For example the Istanbul one is in walking distance to so many cultural landmarks. It is in an area that caters to many tourists, but is much easier for us westerners to start in. The Cappadocia hotel was outside the tourist bustle and had a quiet dignity that accentuated the quiet stone landscapes you check out during the days. And the area around the Sanliurfa hotel feels like a movie. It is clear you are nowhere near the homogenized West and in a good way. But this is just a part. Not just the choices of where to go and what to see, but when, and places to avoid if any are things that local tour agencies with their local connections know, and foreign ones may not. Also our tour guides were essential. Turkey tries to make tourism easy, but the language is quite different and difficulties can arise anywhere which is easy to see when you are trying to do something on your own in your free time. There were no difficulties with anything planned. Fez had seen to that ahead of time. The tour guides had everything taken care of. Lines were faster, they were translators, had tips for highlights and insights into as much as it seemed we wanted to hear. And our guide for everything but Istanbul, Mehmet went above and beyond what one should be able to expect from a guide. I know it is a common name, but hopefully you get the same guide we had. And I imagine Fez Travel has built some expertise in identifying and recruiting high caliber guides like the ones we had. Everything went great, we got to see a lot, at what seemed like the best times and in the best ways and I have Fez Travel to thank.
