We were very pleased with our first encounter with Tour Radar. We booked our trip several months in advance. The staff was always responsive and timely (within hours) to questions concerning the trip. I found the web site useful and a good way to communicate. We requested an additional city (Nuoro) to visit & lodge. Tour Radar accommodated our request. However, Tour Radar did not book the stay in Nuoro, but in Bitti at Hotel Su Lithu (about 30 minutes from Nuoro) instead, which was a much better choice! We loved all the hotels on the trip: Hotel Su Lithu (lovely view of mountains), T-Hotel in Cagliari (beautiful room), Mariano IV Palace Hotel in Oristano, Hotel Calabona (lovely view of sea) in Alghero & Hotel Club (lovely view of sea) in Baja Sardinia. The printed guide provided things to see & do for each city, which was very helpful. I also communicated with Yvonne from Tui Italia several times and she went above & beyond to answer my questions & provided additional information about places to visit (agriturismi). The car rental process was very organized. It was comforting to have all the car insurance included in the trip package. Overall my husband & I thought everything went smoothly. The self-guided tour was well organized. We will certainly consider Tour Radar again for future trips. Kindest Regards, Jane & Ed
Best of Sardinia, Self-DriveWe very much enjoyed our experience. Alessandro was an excellent very knowledgeable. I would suggest that the itinerary could be much more efficient and minimize driving time if we started either at the south of Sardinia ended in the north of Corsica.
