What people love about Central America Tours for Young Adults
- Central America Adventure
I am currently on my way back from my eighteen-day tour of Central America. Thank you so much for the wonderful experiences, amazing adventures and for a trip I will never forget. Ceci is a great group leader and I am amazed by her friendly, energetic and fun manner. I would also like to thank INTRO for the perfect organisation from picking me up at the airport to arriving at the airport for my journey home!
- Costa Rica: Ocean Waves & Sunsets
This trip was fantastic! My wife and I had a ton of fun exploring Costa Rica with our tour guide Criss Rojas and the rest of our group-mates. Would definitey recommend for anybody interested in exploring this beautiful country on a smaller budget! Here are a few things that I hope will help future tour-goers: - Don't bring everything on the packing list! I brought a full first aid kit, headlamps, etc., and only used them very minimally. I could've done with just a couple first aid items (band-aids, after bite, etc.) and not the whole thing. - Bring colones! The guide list says you can do with just USD but we found that colones were essential. Many washrooms run 100-300 colones to use, tipping is FAR easier if you have colones (1 USD = ~675 colones), as sometimes only a couple hundred is appropriate rather than a full USD. Also, the general advice from our tour guide was to pay in the currency presented on the receipt/bill - so USD to pay for USD, and colones for colones. We could've saved a bunch of money on the exchange by exchanging for colones in the airport rather than on the go. - As far as bags go, I found it was easiest to have 1 suitcase, 1 backpack suitable for day trips (water backpacks are a plus!), and 1 fanny pack/smaller bag for wallet, phone, etc. It was fairly easy to move around even the largest suitcases in our group, at least on the transportation we used on our tour. Best of luck to all future Adventurers!
- Basic Costa Rica: Coastlines & Cloud Forests
This was probably the best group tour holiday I’ve had. Yes the accommodation is basic and you only get one meal included, but the guide was amazing and the ensured that we were safe, happy and doing all the activities that we wanted to! He went above and beyond to make sure we experienced Costa Rica to the fullest, from making us local drinks to hunting out sloths for us. Definitely recommend this tour.
