From being greeted and supported through the arrivals process in Egypt, to the being dropped at the airport for my last flight, everything about my Timeless tour was fantastic. I had arrived a day earlier than my tour, and Timeless had organised Soma to be my guide for the additional tours I wanted to do on my extra days. Soma was excellent, knowledgeable, kind, and generous with her time and her information. She introduced me to Egypt in a wonderful way, and we chatted as if we were old friends for most of our 2 days together. As a solo travelling woman, she was a real gift. As the tour proper began we were introduced to Peter, our guide and tour leader. Peter was beyond excellent. Experienced, organised, patient, full of knowledge about his country and its history, and super funny! He made our group feel like a family very quickly, and I feel like I made some new friends for life along the way. The hotels were great, 3-4 star, clean and well appointed. The Nile Cruise was comfortable, with lovely staff. We all bonded over the early starts, especially the Abu Simbel morning, which was totally worth the effort - don't miss it! It was great to have the tips for service organised by Peter, it takes the hassle away (especially for those of us who come from non tipping countries). This is a fast paced tour, though there are moments of rest, and the last days in Hurghada spent on the beach seem well deserved when you get there!

This tour really was a great "intro" to parts of Thailand, and made me wish I could stay longer and see more of the country! There is a good mix of planned/covered activities, add-ons (such as watching a Muay Thai fight and dinners), and even some free time, which I filled with things like visiting the Koh Phangan elephant sanctuary, additional scuba diving and rest. (Trust me, you WILL want to rest at times!) Pun was our group leader, and she was awesome! Very informative, friendly and vibed well with the group. For the DIVING part of the tour, here's what I wish I knew: only two of us were dive tour participants. There were over a dozen of us at the start of the tour, but most of us split on day nine and were on our own for the final stretch. That being said, I really enjoyed the diving in Koh Tao and the team at Simple Life. I booked the tour as a certified diver, so I chose to upgrade to my PADI Advanced certification, while also hopping on a few fun dives. This was a great fun and balanced tour for me, and now I just want to go back!

Just had a fantastic 8-day tour of Jordan. It was a blast. My driver Mr. Murad was knowledgeable, courteous and above all a fantastic company throughout the desert trip. He knew all the right spots for - selfies, pit stops and shopping. Accommodation at Petra was good and very convenient - just a few minutes walk from the entrance. Wadi Rum and the Bedouin camp beat my expectations - Needless to say our hosts at the camp kept us entertained well into the night and the dinner was a blast. If I could, I would have stayed a couple of days more at Wadi Rum. I was delighted to have Wi-Fi in the car and at Wadi Rum. Thanks - Murad for a wonderful trip

What our customers ask about Diving Tours & Trips
When is the best time to go diving?
It really depends on where you want to dive. You can dive the Great Barrier Reef all year, but the water is clearest from June to October with visibility reaching 65-100 feet. For the Red Sea, plan your trip between March and May or September to November when the water is a comfortable 75-80°F. If you're heading to the Galapagos, December through May brings calmer, warmer waters. Many travelers we've talked to suggest visiting during shoulder season when you'll find good conditions with fewer people in the water.
Which popular diving spots do these tours visit?
You'll get to explore some amazing dive sites like Thailand's Koh Tao with its colorful coral reefs, the Great Barrier Reef where you can see turtles and reef sharks, and Tofo Beach in Mozambique where divers often see turtles and reef sharks. The Chumpon Pinnacles near Koh Tao is another favorite, where divers often see turtles and reef sharks.
What marine life will I see while diving?
Get ready to meet some amazing underwater residents. On the Great Barrier Reef, you'll swim with giant turtles, stingrays, and over 1,500 different kinds of fish among bright coral formations. Red Sea dives often include close-up views of reef fish, moray eels and sometimes dolphins. At North Seymour in the Galapagos, divers regularly see manta rays, devil rays, eagle rays, sea turtles and octopi at depths of about 52-59 feet. As one happy diver told us, "The diversity of marine life was absolutely incredible - we saw something new on every dive."
What type of places will I stay in during my diving tour?
Your accommodation options range from fancy resorts to specially equipped dive boats. In Egypt, you might stay at places like the 5-star Desert Rose Resort in Hurghada where everything's included. For Great Barrier Reef trips, you'll spend a couple nights on a dive boat with cabin-style rooms. Bali offers spots like the Mulia Resort in Nusa Dua. One traveler mentioned, "The combination of comfortable accommodation and easy access to dive sites made the experience seamless."
How many dives are usually included in a tour package?
Most tours pack in plenty of diving time. Take the Thai Intro + Dive tour - you get 6 dives over 4 days, starting in shallow water before going deeper to about 60 feet. If you're heading to Mozambique, the Dive Safari includes two dives every day at Tofo's reefs. Your package typically covers refresher lessons, all the gear you need, and dives in both morning and afternoon with qualified instructors right there with you.
What are the best diving locations these tours offer?
Egypt's Red Sea is a favorite - at spots like Hurghada you can see clearly for 30-40 meters underwater through crystal water. The Galapagos Islands' Gordon Rocks is where you might spot hammerhead sharks and the rare Oceanic Sunfish. Lots of divers tell us they love Lovina in Bali, where you can often see dolphins and healthy coral reefs. Pemba Island off Tanzania has some of the best-preserved coral reefs you'll find in the Indian Ocean, with water that stays around 79°F.
