  • Days 1-2

    Rome

    Start in Rome when the main sites are quietest. Visit the Vatican Museums early (aim for 8:00 AM) to see the Sistine Chapel before the crowds pour in. After lunch visit the Colosseum and Roman Forum with afternoon tickets to avoid the midday sun.     Venice

    Take the high-speed train from Rome to Venice (3.5 hours). Book seats on the right side for the best views.     Verona & Pisa

  • Day 1
