What people love about Christmas & New Year Tours in Mexico
- Mexico Unplugged (from Mexico City to Isla Cozumel)
This tour was the perfect way to see everything Mexico has to offer (more than just pretty beaches!). I had so much fun on this tour - great, knowledgeable tour leader, excellent travel companions and saw some pretty incredible things. Loved the flexibility this tour gave us - we could choose to do day trips or just take the day off to chill out with new friends. Our tour leader really made this trip, he knew so much about each city, suggestions for tour guides and activities were on point, had good tips on where to dine and have a great night out that were easy on the wallet and he was very sociable and made it a relaxed and easy environment for us to interact. Miss my tour buddies!!
- Riviera Maya Adventure 7D/6N
Absolutely fantastic. Our contact at Bamba Experiences was so responsive and helped us in a number of tight spots. On one morning, our tour guide for Chichen Itza never showed up. Bamba immediately called them and worked out another tour day for us. We were blown away. Other than that, the lodgings were very comfortable. Nicer locations were slightly further away from the city centre, however, so I would suggest giving people 2 options for lodgings (and then they can prioritize convenience over ambiance, if they wish). Also, finding an English-speaking clerk at the bus stations (to print our tickets) was a little daunting, so perhaps offering us the chance to pre-print bus tickets before our vacation would be more useful. Other than that, it was great and very well-priced. I will 100% be booking another trip with Bamba again.
- Yucatan Quintana Roo Experience
The overall enjoyment of the tour was very good. It could be improved by choosing hotels that have facilities on site to get hot drinks/basic breakfast requirements before leaving for the day. Sometimes the pick up time is very early, so to start the day with no breakfast option is not good. One of our hotels had no hot water, the others had extremely low water pressure so impossible to shower. A review of the hotels you are using would be advised as customers should be offered the option to pay more for better facilities. However they were all clean and the staff friendly. The drivers and tour guides were all very passionate and knowledgeable. Delays at times but all part of the holiday. There were some small errors in the English itinerary translation, which resulted in a wasted trip to Cancun bus station to try and buy bus tickets as advised on our first night, when we were jet lagged. Communication was good with the office and helpful when we needed assistance. Thank you for a great experience in Mexico.
