10-Day Adelaide to Perth Adventure Tour - A

I was on a 10 day trip from Perth to Adelaide. You get to see beautiful white-sanded beaches, amazing landscape and coastline and a lot of wildlife. The activities were also great, everyone loved the surfing lesson and the sandboarding, I also enjoyed the Aboriginal cultural walk with lonely Mrs. E. Richardson. And of course the day trip to Louth island (don’t want to spoil too much- but it’s quiet close to heaven on earth…). The swag camping wasn’t that bad, it was actually fun! You got to know that it’s gonna be some long bus drives, but hey- you’re crossing the Nullarbor!!! And the very best thing about the trip: meeting cool new people and of course our guides: Gary & Hannah. Gary did a great job in driving us and entertaining us. And hannah was the best Tour guide ever: always friendly and funny, she’s got perfect management skills and she’s a great cook. I haven’t eaten that good for a long time (loved the quinoa bowls🤤)! Highly recommended
10 Day Perth to Adelaide Adventure Tour - L

Disappointed that when the tour was created, the creators did not look ahead to realize it was holiday in Australia. We were not able to do one tour planned event- Phillips Island/Melbourne. Which left the walking tour, interesting but not what our plan was. In Adelaide all side tours were cancelled because of holiday. We were left to find things to do in our own. No shops were open in many areas because of Good Friday. The designers of this tour should be aware of these dates and plan accordingly. I am sure time and schedule were included in the pricing of this tour and were were not given an option of monies back or credit. Our tour guide did her best to pivot the last days plan, which ended up with a lot of riding and long travels with no options from one point to the other. This was not the tour guide’s fault… poor planning from company from the start.

What our customers ask about Coach / Bus Tours & Trips in Australia
What are the typical daily driving times on Australian coach tours?
Australian coach tours generally space out travel time into manageable 4-6 hour segments. Passengers can expect regular breaks every 2-3 hours for restroom stops and local sightseeing. The Perth to Exmouth Explorer offers a good example of this pacing with scheduled stops at places like Nambung National Park and Monkey Mia where travelers can stretch their legs and explore. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "Despite a crazy amount of driving in a short period of time, our tour guide Gus went out of his way to cater to everyone's needs and made the journey entertaining."
What are the most scenic routes covered on Australian coach tours?
The continent's coach routes showcase Australia's diverse landscapes. The Great Ocean Road winds along Victoria's coastline past the Twelve Apostles while the Red Centre Way cuts through the desert to reach Uluru. The coastal stretch from Perth to Exmouth offers views of Ningaloo Reef. Additional notable routes include the rugged Gibb River Road in the Kimberley region and the historic Great Eastern Highway through the goldfields. As shared by a TourRadar traveler: "The Great Ocean Road was stunning - we stopped at all the best lookouts and our guide knew exactly when to arrive to avoid crowds."
How many passengers are typically on an Australian coach tour?
Australian coach tours maintain intimate group sizes ranging from 20 to 35 passengers. The Perth to Exmouth Explorer keeps numbers to 23 people on their 24-seat coaches. Higher-end operators like APT run even smaller groups particularly for Tasmania tours with just 12 to 20 travelers. A TourRadar reviewer noted: "With 22 people on board there was plenty of space to spread out and the smaller group size meant we could access places bigger coaches couldn't."
What is included in terms of meals on coach tours?
Tour packages typically cover daily breakfast plus select lunches and dinners. The Top End Escape provides 10 meals including 6 breakfasts and 4 dinners. More extensive itineraries like the Tastes of Southern Australia include up to 17 meals throughout the journey. A TourRadar traveler shared: "Our guide arranged fantastic local experiences like a BBQ lunch at Gold Creek Station and wine tastings in the Barossa Valley."
What is the best time of year to take a coach tour in Australia?
Australia's varied climate means optimal travel times differ by region. Southern areas including the Great Ocean Road and Tasmania are best explored during spring (September-November) or autumn (March-May). The Top End's dry season (May-October) offers the most pleasant conditions while coastal routes between Perth and Exmouth are most enjoyable from March to October. A TourRadar reviewer shared: "We went in September and had perfect weather for exploring the Ningaloo Reef and national parks."
What are the key attractions typically covered on coach tours in Australia?
Coach routes connect Australia's most recognized sites including the Sydney Opera House Uluru and the Great Barrier Reef. Tours often feature stops at Kakadu National Park known for Aboriginal rock art the limestone stacks of the Twelve Apostles and wildlife encounters on Kangaroo Island. Accommodations range from the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cairns to the uniquely designed Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel. As one TourRadar traveler noted: "The tour was well organized with a detailed itinerary to fully appreciate beautiful sites. Our guide Mike created an exceptional tour that I'm still raving about."
