This tour far exceeded our expectations in virtually every way. Tamer was a fantastic guide who was friendly yet firm when necessary. He made sure we were on schedule and had time to explore sites on our own after the overview tour at each stop. The cruise boat was much nicer than expected (and better appointed than it appears from the outside), and the buffet food was consistently excellent. The food is a good mix of Mediterranean, generic Middle Eastern (think Lebanese), and Egyptian specific food. Lots of healthy and vegetarian options as well. The only thing we would have wanted differently would be time in local markets, and not just pre- chosen/ directed stores that were consistently overpriced- even if the quality was high. Overall, we were thrilled with this tour and HIE (especially Tamer), and would recommend it to friends.
